newbie question...

One of the intentionally aged teas, Pu-Erh has a loyal following.

I think 2007 cake is still too young and not ready to drink unless you get a cake with mild taste.

I put some in the passaround box last year labeled "Tony's mystery blend", so you may have already tasted it.

I preferred the xizhihao 8582, but the longfeng is a decent, if somewhat pricey, sheng. Sure does come in a purdy wrapper.

I have ordered XZH Dragon and Phoenix, I want to start cololecting and experiencing puerh, it is a usefull thing to do, if you pile up japanese green tea, they get stale, if you pile up oolong, you might run out of tea, but when collecting puerh, they do not loose flavour, and I will never run out of good tea. Sofar I am tempted to try pure wild arbor puerh`s, they sound exciting.

Upton Tea Imports carries 9 different pu-erhs, a few loose and some tuocha (cake) pu-erhs, and they have a small sample size (usually enough for at least 2-3 cups) for all but one of the teas...it's under $20 to sample all the sample-able pu-erhs. You might want to check them out.

Upton is comerce tea compared to real quality puerh you can find at YS, puershop, Houde, Nadacha... Try to read more and try to use good source for your tea.
