My most consistently used item is probably my lily pad saucer at work. Humm now that I think about it, it is my only saucer at work, that's probably why.

Luckily I had just what the recipe called for, some Twinings "Ceylon" rolling around in the cupboard, looking for an experiment to be used in. I was kind of hesitant to use somethign of real quality, first - because this might have wound up being disgusting (which it wasn't), and I'd have felt bad burning good tea on it, second - I NEVER add sugar or milk to my "good tea."

As far as the pantyhose goes, do you think Hong Kong pantyhose tastes different, than say, Seattle pantyhose? I might have some trouble getting some from Hong Kong... you know, to make it authentic...

I said a particular cooling pitcher. This one is Japanese, but tall and narrow. It has a name other than Yuzamashi, but I cannot remember it. I use it for the first 3 steeps of virtually every tea I have each day. I like it quite a bit because the thermometer stands in it plus it does not lose heat too fast like a Yuzamashi tends to do for me.

Began the TD with a great session of Magokoro from Yuuki-Cha. SweeTea certainly liked it as well while Fuji figured out how to climb up to the top of the table ... ohhh nooo.

I use the same teapot almost all the time...it's a little glass pot in the neighbourhood of 250-300ml and works fairly well for any type of tea. Hoping I can add a little gawian soon though...for really intense teas like puerh one infusion is about all I can drink from a pot this size.

Yesterday I started an anti-bloat food plan that lasts for four days. One of the no-nos is tea so I have been suffering!

Bad hair day? Tears!
Getting cut off in traffic? Very creative language
Extra projects at work? Extreme grouchiness!
Trying to think something through? Very thick brain fogginess!
Going without tea? A very bad idea!

Tomorrow I am breaking the no caffeinated beverage rule for the final two days! I'll admit it: My name is geeber and I am a tea addict!

Hi All,

Well I almost picked "a particular teapot", because I use my Adagio personaliTea almost everyday for black tea in the morning. (In the afternoon, I may have sencha, gyokuro, matcha, or oolong, or ???, so the brewing vessel matches the tea). Then I saw that there was an option for "a particular teaspoon/tea scoop"...I use the same teaspoon (literally an ordinary old measuring teaspoon) for every tea! Interesting it is the thing I use the most and it is absolutely the least aesthetically appealing thing in the process...wonder what that says?

This morning Ceylon Vithanakande got the nod...then the morning was so busy I literally had to take my cup with me in the van to drop my son off at school...it was too good to leave! Then at work I split what I took in my briefcase thermos with my tea buddy...maybe I didn't split it exactly 50/50 . Later she made some bagged Earl Grey...She seemed to like it, but I thought it tasted like oregano (I'm looking for a "pfffttttt" smilie) and could not drink it at all.

Right now I'm on a 3rd steep of Fuki-sincha...this stuff is soooooo good!

I have been busy working on a "special project!" I got the first part done. Just a hint you say? It could have something to do with Hagi ... maybe.

I have a tea scoop that I use every time that I make a cup of tea. It says "1 perfect cup of tea" on the handle, and though it is not always true, it is close enough that I continue to use the scoop. Close behind that is my pink travel mug, which gets used daily. I really dislike pink, but it works great.

Thank you! It was Adagio's 2008 first flush sencha ("Premiere) - it was lovely!

The glass cup and saucer are from the 70's. A set my parents had way back in the day.
