Whoa, now that's some solidarity! Thanks y'all!

As far as salt changes with the hagi goes...I've actually noticed very little color change over the year I've used the bowl. Perhaps the clay itself is a little lighter, but the glaze is as vibrant as ever. I don't let the salt accumulate, though. After a major salt day, I keep refreshing the bowl with clean water until I no longer get crystal formation. Then we begin the process again.

Do you get extra funky color changes if you put eye of newt in the hagi? :o
