Mmmm... the last of my Kame-Jiru-Shi is in my cup right now. This is my fave of the O-Cha gyokuro that I've tasted. It has good body and breadth without being heavy, and it has a high-iron/green leaf quality that's like escarole and sauteed asparagus with just a little bite. It's a nice way to ease into the weekend.

The Kame is outstanding on a consistent basis!!! It is da bombe! I usually start drinking more Gyokuro once Winter rolls around leading up to ... SHINCHAAAA! :D

Began the TD with Zencha Fuji the Ultimate shared with SweeTea while Fuji the Feline looked on. Followed by Hatsumi from O-Cha.

Probably if I had not been somewhat influenced by teachat I would not have bought a kyusu-styled yixing pot.

But I was a collector of my own teawares before I found teachat, so it's a toss up.

Today I am drinking an absolutely delicious full-bodied Yunnan organic from Cha Ma Gu Dao. I love this tea - it's extremely tippy with loads of flavor and good stuff like its Yunnan origin should make it. Imagine a really rich puerh as a tippy black gold tea

TC influence has brought me many new tea wares. Hagi-itis, kyusu, chawan... and I love it!

No snow here today so far, but yesterday - what a mess.

Finishing off the TeaDay with the Black Pearls....aaaarrrrr.....

I used to be a strickly green tea..specifically Gyokuro unsweetened and extra strong. I didn't do the flavored teas much and I really didn't drink rooibos. Now, my tastes have evolved to include these teas and it does have a lot to do with Adagio. Especially, because of the samples sizes and the freebies sometimes with my order.

TeaChat is a support group that seeks to get you more addicted.

Speaking of addiction, I dove into a Chinese green this afternoon from Seven Cups -- their huang shan mao feng. Mild, but very sweet and tasty. Mmmm!

Oh yeah, it's almost my 1 year TeaChat anniversary. My, how a year zooms by... here's to another, may it be full of the finest tea! (I can toast myself, right? :D )

Not like it's stopping us though. :)

Last tea of the day, trying to finish up some Frozen Summit Oolong at work.

Yeah, a noticeable change....MORE teaware!!!!!

Today's teas...Yunnan Imperial this morning...great tea with breakfast! Later my tea buddy made Mate Vana...mmmm, good stuff. Now some wonderful Tulsi tea.

Nothing big on the calendar tomorrow...weather cold and rainy...sounds like a good day for a little tea!

Happy sipping,
Dreamer
