I did the same thing today, in case I don't have time in the morning!

The scariest thing in our fridge is French's mustard. Out kitchen just isn't scary.

Yet more Hibiki-an fuka today!

I did not drink Lochan samples today since I follow the rules ... and I am not participating.

I have to say anyone with liquified cucumbers is at least a close second in the "contest." Those just freak me out.

Began the TD with Kabuse from O-Cha again today. It is mild but very good.
Next up, Hatsumi from ... yeah, O-Cha.
And finally Matcha from Zencha in a Seigan Blue Chawan with DW. The dry matcha in the heated Chawan was so fruity. Very enjoyable!

Well, I am thinking you win but here is my creepy story. A long time ago I made some Lemon Angel Hair Pasta a recipe I tried from Giada on Food Network. It turned out great but I made the recipe exactly and had some leftovers and decided I would put it in the freezer. Finally, I decided to thaw it out one day for dinner and I had the worst scare. There was a large moth in the pasta and it was perfectly preserved. It must have gotten in there some how I have NO idea how it could have been even possible. It was enormous. At this point I didn't even discover it until after I microwaved it. I cut into the pasta and there it was. I took pictures too just so my husband could see it as it went down the garbage disposal. I was scared to get into leftovers ever since. Just writing about this is creeping me out. Well, I hope it was worth digging up this repressed memory. :)
Well, you have my vote. I'm going to be cautiously probing my frozen food for evidence of mutant moths for months now. Sort of like an Edgar Allan Poe recipe; "drain the angel hair pasta and arrange on the serving dish. Pour on the sauce and garnish with the huge perfectly preserved moth."

Murrius,
So sorry for that. Trust me I still get scared. The hardest thing for me is knowing it was there all that time and I had no clue and of course the BIGGEST of all questions how did it get there. There was just NO way it could have happened. It still freaks me out thinking about it. Hope you never have something like that happen to you. Also, thanks so much for the vote.
Sincerly,
RachelC

I'm pretty boring in this case. I tend to keep things pretty neat/clean.
To answer the question, the oldest thing in my fridge is a bottle of vinaigrette.
BORING. lol
