Humm well I know from cleaning out and arranging my tea stash that I have way too much tea still on hand, so for now I would say I probably have more tea. Just a guess, there is no way I'm going to count it!
Started the day with Japanese black. Next I'll have the Lochan tasting
Doke sample prepared according to the tasting control instructions.

Not counting Samples cups already win, solely because I started to prepare tea for more people which includes getting two different sets of 6 cups, plus the odds and ends picked up along the way.
But tea is a close second.

I collect tins which seems to be catching up with me. A whole shelf is completly dedicated to tea tins!

Much more teas in my collection because most of them are stored in the silvery bags I got them in. Next would be tins, then cups and pots/gaiwans.

Drinking Lochan's Doke Silver needle prepared according to the control method. I think it tasted better my way. 6g per 8oz is higher than I would normally go, it's not all that fluffy.
Maybe this work week will go a bit faster with the distraction of brewing these teas and all the paraphernalia I have to bring along; thermometer, timer & gram scale.

where is the control method?
I think there was supposed to be a link to brewing parameters for each tea, but I can't find it. I used a LOT of tea for my tasting. Small, thin gaiwan, filled over 1/2 with dry leaves.

It was a PDF they sent by email with the brewing parameters for each tea. And the order of the tastings too it seems. I'll send it to you.Geekgirl wrote:where is the control method?

Yunomi and chawan coming out of my ears. So I voted "cups".
(And no, that does not count my sales stock and the work in progresss in the studio
.)

Tea, definitely.
The point I always bring up to myself when contemplating a new teaware purchase is this:
You know you could be buying actual TEA with this money!

Hands down. I definitely have a lot of teas... second place goes to tins and third goes to cups!
