My worst was a jasmine oolong. Blech, way too floral. It was like drinking a funeral parlor.

Strawberry Pu-erh has to be the worst I tasted this year.

Oolong is in the pot tonight..

" lukewarm Tea is the devils brew" I read this in a book today.

Enjoy the Tea night

Definitely an oolong, as from the oolong box pass. I think it was a coconut oolong. *shiver* I hope it tasted that way because something in it had gone bad. . .

Most of my "bad" teas usually seem to come from the flavored variety. . .

I've come a long way in tea drinking this year thanks to all of you but because it hasn't been a full year yet I have to say rasberry celestial seasonings was by far the worst thing I have ever tasted and I drank a lot of it

I drank coffee today  because I woke late and didn't have time to make tea.

I guess I don't remember anything being so horrible this year. Lots of second flushes that were not to my liking, but not horrible.

DaYuLin in in my cup this afternoon. Wishing for something now, I might have a herbal. Then I can come back and report. Ha!

Great TD continued with a tasting of Zencha Fuji the Ultimate. Next up was a tasting of Rishi Silver Needles. Both excellent!

Finishing the TD with Korean Market Mugi with some roasted corn for good measure.

Oh yuck, stawberry kiwi from teavana. I had a cup of that. Threw it out. That one definitely gets my vote.

Geek, how long ago did you drop the "Unveiled?" Recently, or am I terribly un-observant?

Geeber, Geek was "unveiled" a few months ago, so you are just terribly unobservant.

Thanks Adam for sharing your Ice Split and adding color to our TD!!!

"Unveiled?" what'd I miss? :?

The worst tea this year was, surprisingly, a matcha.
I bought a can of matcha from teavana - blechhh. :x
I tried the one serving, then it went promptly into the trash.
Also had a couple of japanese greens I didn't like too well - they had
the seaweed-y, wheatgrassy thing going very dominantly -- not my style.

Finishing the day with Moonlight White from Rishi.
Cheers, and hope all had a good tea day.
Sweet Dreams to us all.
:)

Short version is, a long time ago, I started a blog that I wanted to name "geekgirl." That name, naturally, was not available. My tagline was originally "out of the geek-closet," ie: unveiled. I was also on a couple of nerdy hobby forums that had membership in the 1000s. Try getting "geekgirl" on one of those, good luck. So I used "GeekgirlUnveiled" whenever I couldn't get just "geekgirl."

Well, one day it dawned on me that I could have used the short version on here, so I asked Chip to change it for me, which he kindly did. 8)

Hahaha!! I am sooo smart for not ordering their matcha with my new glass matcha bowl, even though I was tempted. :)

I guess the worst tea for me was Glenburn Green from the Lochan Tea tasting. I was so disappointed.
