Definitely not. Blechhh. Would be my bad luck that the eggs would clink together, crack, and leak out egg junk in my Zoji. I think not.
Iced Lady Earl Grey this morning, but I am wanting something warm.

Re: Sunday TeaDay 1/31/10 Shock or awe?
If I had an electric kettle, I wouldn't use it to cook eggs. I wouldn't use my precious red kettle (heated on gas stove) either! We use an electric egg cooker; we used my mother=in=law's after she came to live with us in 1975, and used it (it was already 20 or so years old at that time) until our son bought us a new one around the year 2000. (The old one still works.
) We save it for sentimental reasons
. I was lucky enough to love my MIL.
Drinking a cup of Imperial Red from Silk Road Teas (one of my new samples). It is a slightly smoky flavored black tea, robust enough to take milk and to use as a breakfast tea.

Ok i had to say yes i would, if i were creative enough to think of it. When i was in college, one year me and a couple class mates live in a 3 bedroom house where the stove/oven was really more of a decoration than a functional object (but hey rent was free). I saved my money and invested in a toaster oven and hot plate which became our stove/oven. (anyone ever try baking a whole batch of cookies 4 at a time in a toaster oven?) at the time i did not have an electric water kettle because i didnt drink tea, but if i had one i definately would have used it. Of course the hot pot i own now was only $10 so if it was ruined it wouldnt be that big of a deal. If i had a Zoji on the other hand, i would probably say no way!!

No way I'd do it! I'm pretty happy with my trusted saucepan for boiling eggs.
Started the day with a charcoal roasted Dong Ding from Red Circle Tea.

Silver Needle after running around doing errands this morning/afternoon. Holding off on another cup until I get dinner started - probably something fruity to compliment dinner. Might make some extra-strong and freeze it to make tea-slush later.. looks like my blender's gonna get a workout this week!

Yuck yuck yuck, if egg EVER got into the flavor of my tea I would probably freak the f out! haha I am not a fan of eggy tastes.

Not likely, but I found it interesting anyway. Perhaps if I retire this electric kettle, then maybe, maybe. I think I would chicken out (pun intended).
Began the TD with a home blend of sencha-s which worked out pretty good. Next up, a tasting of Matcha from Zencha in a Cory Lum Chawan. SweeTea enjoyed both today while Fuji, and Lil Bit said "no thanks."
