Re: Saturday TeaDay 2/06/10 Small Talk TD, how's the weather?

Weather is gorgeous but cold in Syracuse. The sun was shining for once even though the temperature did not get above freezing.

I have been consuming lots of iced tea lately even with the cold weather. For some reason, despite the freezing temperatures, it just really hits the spot. I did start the day with some gyokuro, but currently in my cup is a cold blend of Assam and Orange Blossom Oolong.

Rained both heavily and lightly today in the SF bay area; cold out now, with light clouds and some stars visible.

Had Ikuyo matcha this morning, then silver needle. Then at the tea shop, wako matcha, little red robe oolong, gyokuro, and taiwan beauty oolong.
About to finish off the day with a bit more of the silver needle.
A fine teaday indeed.
I'm well marinated.

Hello everyone, I had a damp and chilly day here in SD, I warmed the leaves ( as well as myself) with a round of jade ti guan yin, then a round of 1997 grand shou pu erh. good stuff. Yesterday was "tea tasting day" at my local tea " watering hole" Halcyon Tea. Drank four different darker oolongs, mainly wuyi's Then moved on to a ti guan yin, that the owner graciously let me behind the counter to serve.
