Re: Thursday TeaDay 2/18/10 Casual or formal approach?
Alright, didn't end up with time for any tea this afternoon... but I've got water heating for some tea while I cook dinner - I think it might be time for some Snowbud.

I am fairly new to tea, so i dont know if i have a definite favorite yet. I tend to be fairly laid back and casual with white tea and herbals. I pay a little more attention to blacks so they dont get bitter. I am much more precise with greens, using the thermometer and timer.
Started out the day with white peony. currently drinking chocolate rooibos, not my fave, but the sooner i finish, the sooner i can start something else.

Casual, laid-back, unfussy, and easygoing
I think tea should be relaxing and a joy not painstaking.
More long jing today and probably some sleepy time tea tonight.

Good to see you ... though if you are busy, you might not see this.JBaymore wrote:Kinda' middle of the road.

4 teas so far today with prospects of a fifth, low caffeine Houjicha perhaps.
With Mrs. Chip ... did a tasting of an unopened shincha fukamushi ... it was good but faded, soft. Next up, Matcha in a Cory Lum Chawan, and last up was a green Hankook Oolong in a dragon/phoenix Gaiwanesque set. I would classify this as a great TD.

Dittoing all of the casual, laid-back, unfussy, and easygoing sentiment.
Houjicha to unwind after a long but fun-filled day. Homeward bound tomorrow.

Casual & easy going, but that doesn't mean I pay a huge amount of respect and thought to the tea.
