At my desk/computer, or in a chair in the living room. Simple pleasures.
Genmaicha extra green in a few moments, as this gloomy winter's day needs some brightening up! Cold, cold rain.

Re: Thursday TeaDay 2/25/10 Your favorite place to enjoy TEA?
Since I'm usually at school, my dorm has become one of my favorite places to drink tea, whether I'm writing a paper, doing problem sets, or just in need of a cup or three.
If I'm at my mother's or father's place, the tea spot of choice is perched on the kitchen counter with a book, next to the stove for maximum tea-making convenience.
My "other" is anywhere with my mother, tea-drinking friends, or girlfriend. There's something really great about drinking tea with others who are similarly passionate about it-- my friends and I have these amazing tea parties (real tea parties, not the political events) in the basement of my residence hall, and my girlfriend and I often drink several cups during our anime marathons.
Right now, I'm on my second cup of pu-erh with chrysanthemum (yum!!) before I run off to art class.

Comfy chair at home
At computer, on TeaChat
At desk (at work)
Nilgiri Glendale at home this morning. I brought all my tea "stuff" home last weekend to give it a good cleaning, and keep forgetting to bring it back to work, so no tea here all week!

My favourite place to drink tea is in bed with my gf
We get the pot and a couple of little cups onto a tray and a kettle of hot water and set the tray on the bed then we sit on the end and cuddle while we enjoy our tea

Currently my favorite place to drink tea is kindof a combination of at my computer and in a comfy chair. I usually drink tea sitting on the couch with my laptop on my lap. one day when i get my deck built and landscaping done i look forward to drinking tea in the back yard, but that is still atleast two years away so i will have to be patient.
Started the TD with white peony, followed by a green spring pekoe, then snow dragon, now more white peony, later maybe a rooibos.

Today's poll question makes it feel like I've had the honor of "taking tea" with the 'chatters...so nice that everybody has shared their fav tea places!
I LOVE to have my tea outside...hot tea in sweet morning sunshine or iced tea in a breezy shady spot or any other tea-weather combo!
Tea at my desk while looking in on Teachat (like right now...Houjicha in my cup) is a fav place for tea.
On the couch with family all around, a blanket, cat on one end of the couch, another cat curled up at my side, my little dog on the other side and my Golden Retriever at my feet is such a great place to be! A cup of tea in hand just completes the picture perfectly!
Enjoy,
Dreamer

Golden Monkey earlier, then Red Peach.
Barclay, a 10 month old cairn terrier/schnauzer mix, came to live with us today. He seems to be pretty laid back. We'll see if he stays that way!

Today I´ve been drinking 2nd Flush Arya Ruby from thunderbolt tea...I´ve been making it with very long infusions lately...the flavours don´t get covered up with bitterness or astringency...and it ends up an intense and enjoyable cup.
Or I´m just crazy and can´t taste bitter anymore

Sipping on Den's sencha extra green to start the morning.
Im so jealous now Brian that sounds awsome.
My favorite place is outside, and in the forest sitting on a cliff overlooking the river with no signs of civilization. I take my backpacking cook stove that weighs 3oz, a bottle of water, a small pan and some gas along with my gaiwan and teacup into the forest and hike a few miles to a nearby cliff and make tea and drink it there. Luckily not many people know where it is so rarely do you see anyone.
Second would be outside in the garden.
