artmom wrote:I voted "Less than 120 minutes." That's up about 30 to 40 minutes a day since I found and joined TeaChat. I spend more time thinking about which tea I will have next, as I have many more choices.
This week, I received an order from Adagio of some samples, and a Sakura patterned kyusu made in Arita of porcelain from Den's, along with a sampler of Sakura sencha. Anything with cherry blossoms on it calls to me (last name is Cherry).

I didn't purchase the matching cups, but here's the vendors image. It's my first kyusu.

I'm awaiting my first refill of my Mariage Freres Marco Polo, also. Now I need more storage space for a certainty!
Breathing a bit better; inversion layer moved out of valley - we have blue skys & sunshine!
Oh Yeah, gramma got a Kyusu! Very Koool! Enjoy ... but watch the lid. I broke my first lid ,and second lid.

having learned my lesson, I have not broken one in 7 or more years.
Also watch the spout tip ... they are subject to chips. OK, lesson over. ENJOY!!!
I am sure we are all very happy to hear that you are on the mend!!!!!!

Began the TD with that odd ball Ryu Mei earthy sencha which came out remarkably well today! SweeTea would agree, and Pyrit and Gandalf applauded.
Next up, Long Jing with Mrs. Chip. Being low on Sencha has been helping me get back to some of my roots.
Finally the mystery semi steamed Korean green from Hankook very good...great teas all day, and out of the norm
ok ... also exceptional today ... so absence of sencha is helping me to find new treasures.

I don't know how much I think about tea. Probably less than 10 minutes most days, and endless hours when I'm itching to make a purchase.
Chilling with some long-gone-cold White Peony from Rishi. I can't decide if I like this one or its doppelganger from Tao of Tea better. Hm.

Victoria, I'm ordering from France this first time. I ordered an empty MF canister, too, along with the Marco Polo. But for refills of Marco Polo, after this, I'll probably order from the states, to save money on both the tea and the shipping. Plus, that Mariage Freres website is not friendly for non-French speakers!
Thanks for the tip on the kyusu,
Chip, I'll be careful.

... finishing the TD with Korean Gamro ... Hydrangea leaf. Just two little leaves produces a nice sweet cuppa ... in a ShyRabbit Guinomi, seacucumber-like with a temoku interior. !

I probably do spend less than an hour thinking about tea on most days, but likely few days when I spend less than 15 or 20 minutes thinking about it, some of that while preparing the day's tea, and some of that here and on other forums and online resources etc.
Today I thought about this day's teas--sencha, green mao feng, phoenix oolong; about weather and climate and effects on tea producers and tea production; about whether my new electric kettle will help me make better tea; and about how much time I think about tea!

Im going with all the time or pretty close to it, If Im bored or anything I find myself thinking about what tea to drink later or which to try in my next order.
