I don't watch much basket ball. I prefer baseball (only 8 days to wait).
Kame Jiru Shi gyokuro this evening.

Excellent! I did not know you did bonsai. They require more attention than children. I hope we hear more about your bonsai.brad4419 wrote:With the comming of spring brings the busiest and best time of year for me. Gardening and bonsai work are at the highest level of attention at this time of year with planting and repotting/prunning. Spring session in college is beginning. Im anxious to get out camping/backpacking as soon as I get a free weekend and of course you can't forget the new tea harvest! Im sure theres some more I've forgotten but I think thats enough, my head's already spinning.
LOL, Sarah. Can't say I have a pick for this year ... UConn is a perennial fave though.
Thanks Adam for bringing color to TD!
OK, the only March Madness I could think of is clearing out the old to make room for the new ... teas that is, of course. This year I did too good a job and am out of better Japanese greens, and am being too bull headed to fill the gap and order.
But this has created an opp to seriously try other teas that I likely would not have otherwise, especially the Korean greens. Also revisiting Chinese greens ... so ultimately this sencha deprivation is a good thing, I guess.
Began the TD with one of those Korean greens, a mystery offering from Hankook. SweeTea joined in for this tasting while Pyrit and Gandalf just stopped by for a visit.
Next up, Matcha with Mrs. Chip in an ElmStudio wan.
Finished the TD with Mystery Sencha ...

Definately gardening madness, cleaning out the weeds that have sprung up in the vegetable beds, getting them ready for planting, buying plants, starting seeds, fixing the garden fence, etc. I had planed to do some front yard landscaping, but the ground is too wet from all the rain we have had lately, so that will have to wait, luckily vegetables are grown in raised beds which helps with drainage or i wouldnt have been able to get anything done. My asparagus is starting to come up, should begin harvesting today or tomorrow! YAY!! So much to do, so little time, tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, squash and melons need to be planted in the next week.
