Whoa, in Philly. Was this open to the GP? That would have been very cool to attend and so close to here, an hour away.
Had some mystery Korean tea earlier. I am dying for a good sencha!

Chip,
NCECA is the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts. It is mainly an orgainzation based around people involved in the more acedemic side of clay..... but a lot of members (and conference attendees) are not involved in teaching.
Every year in March (or sometimes April) we hold an annual conference. The conference moves around geographically..... next spring it is in Tampa, and the following year it is in Seattle. There were about 5500 ceramic artists there this year. It is an "open" organization....and a paid conference attendance includes an annual membership ($40). The conference includes all sorts of lectures and panels and demonstrations and such.
The city of Philly was (and still is) filled with ceramics exhibitions in galleries all over the city. Many of the shows ended on Sunday.... but many do run longer.
Go to nceca.org for more info.
best,
................john

Hmm...is it fully automated?
Started the day with some English Breakfast, then some more of that this afternoon. Finished the day with a lovely chamomile lavender tisane that won't keep me up tonight.
I've also started keeping a tea journal to write down the different teas and times and temperatures and have found it very helpful to remember what the hubby and I liked and didn't like. I saw the idea in a different thread somewhere around here. Makes a smoother teaday, I think.
Happy Easter, everyone!

Yes - I am absolutely all in! I'll for sure order the top upgrade package that makes it a hybrid that runs on biodiesel (spent tea leaves or course), has a plug in option, and is combined with rooftop solar panels - gets 200mpg!!
And, I'll have some of what you're drinking.
Having my first pot of Den's Genmaicha Satsuki with sushi tonight (and a bit of sake of course).

Finished out the day with some White Peony after dinner. Now gearing up for a short and very busy work-week before going out of town next weekend... So I might be scarce for a few days. Hopefully my tea consumption won't be lessened, for that would truly be sad.
