Wednesday TeaDay 4/28/10 What to do while sipping?

This is tough, but it is a split between just enjoying the tea experience with my Buttercup or reading/talking about tea/tea related topics.

Today's first cup was a bowl...of Aoi Mugenzou.

Agreed! I looked at it and said "wait, I can only choose 5?!" Went with the ones that happen most often: work, tv, internet (which includes TeaChat), eating (which can also include the first three) and music. Though I do also just sit and enjoy the tea, meditate, etc. Also, I very often end up cooking while drinking tea - most evenings when I get home from work I'll start some tea while I start dinner, then that tea sometimes carries over into drinking it with dinner (sometimes not).

Have so far had some An Ji white tea to 'break in' the new Yunomi.

I eat. Sometimes a morning mugful with breakfast. Then for elevenses, with a small sammich or cookie.

But late afternoons to evening, I do nothing. I sit myself down comfortably and sip and just zone out/space out. "Ahhhh... tea." *_* Had that moment with FLT Buddha Hand last night.

Usually I´m doing various things on my computer while I drink tea...but my favourite thing to do while enjoying tea is to shnuggle with my gf and watch movies together while we sip our tea

Great TD continued with expresso Gyokuro Kame, 3:1 ratio which is the highest I have gone ... served up in tiny LittlePig Hedge Apple guinomi, next Maestro TKY in a Taiwanese Gaiwanesque Set, and finally Sakura Sencha from O-Cha in ChicagoPotter's Sakura Pink Shino Guinomi with Mrs. Chip.

Most commonly, I drink tea while idly browsing forums, checking email, etc. But what I really enjoy is tea with a good book, or while writing. Those seem to fall hand in hand most nicely for me.

I guess I drink tea while doing any of the myriad of things I do to gently wake up. Sometimes I just contemplate the teacup and the brew, sometimes I check on my online Scrabble games with my friends, and sometimes I do a little reading online.

I like a big cup of long jing when Im studying and drinking while I surf the net is something I do several times a day. My favorite has to be just sitting out on the back porch enjoying a cup of tea.
