New Zealand Oolong? That does sound interesting. I had one from Indonesia a while back, it was purple and tasted like bad, ripe puer. New Zealand has to be better than that (^^)
I am looking for a good yellow. I had one that I loved 4 years ago, but haven't found anything comparable since...

I want to try some higher grade greens than I´ve had in the past...both Chinese and Japanese.
Also I´m looking forward to trying fresh, high grade first flush Darjeelings for the first time this year

Japanese greens best grades from Marukyu-Koyamaen. (gyokuro, matcha and sencha). If only they had a decent webstore...

I picked oolong because I haven't had a top-quality da hong pao in quite a long time.
Jing's traditional shui xian was my morning tea, and Hibiki-an's super-premium sencha is in my cup right now.

I really want to try gyokuro and sakura sencha, as well as Korean green tea-- I've heard wonderful things about all of these, and am looking forward to getting a job so I can get more awesome tea.
Also, I want to try more black teas. The black pearl tea sounds especially interesting, but I would also like to try some keemun tea.
Last-- but not least-- on my list are a bunch of pu-erhs. I want to maybe get my hands on something that has been aged for a while, as well as various types of flower-scented pu-erh. I'm a sucker for flower-scented tea, what can I say?
Those are just the ones that are highest on my list, there are about a bazillion more that I'd like to try. I need to stop looking at online tea vendors after burning myself out doing homework...

A friend recently gave me a tin of Dammann Fréres (http://www.boutique-dammann.fr/front/pa ... nn&lang=en) tea. It is called "L'oriental" and is a blend of Chinese green tea, passionfruit, bush peach and strawberry, pineapple, and cornflower petals.
So far it smells reminiscent of a passionfruit sencha I got at Hediard (http://www.hediard.fr/) in 2006. I bought a lot of tea on that trip- and was taken completely unawares that France has AWESOME tea.
It's on my list after I finish my current oolong (and making oolong milk tea) kick. Is it sacrilege to make oolong milk tea? I had it in a boba shop and the creaminess of the milk matched the creamy texture of oolongs and the sweetness suited the floral aroma so perfectly I had to give it a try at home. It's addictive.

I've been drinking tea off and on for years, (mostly Republic of Tea and similar) but without any consistency - just whatever I happened to pick up. For some reason, I recently started exploring pu-erh. I've always been curious about tea that came in bricks. I have one of those decorative bricks with the design of the temple portcullis on the front in my office, and about a year ago I tasted ripe pu-erh for the first time. It was cheap, low quality stuff (loose and mini-tuos), but I loved it, and I've just started ordering samples of higher quality shen stuff.
At the same time that I'm exploring pu-erh, though, I'm realizing how little I know about more basic tea. I like oolong and could describe the taste of generic oolong to someone who hadn't tried it, but I don't know the difference between wuyi and tie quan yin. I've had several green teas as well as white tea, but I don't think I've had sencha, nor have I had gunpowder.
I picked pu-erh, Chinese green and black, since my next selections will probably be pu-erh (already ordered), some basic gunpowder green, and maybe some Yunnan black to compare to the pu-erh. I've also ordered a sample of Mongolian fu tea from YSLLC. It's a post-fermented ripened tea like pu-erh, but from Hunan province; it might count as a black for the purposes of the survey.

Colombia just reminded me. 
I smelled a lovely top grade Taiwanese oolong with peach and rose at Lupicia this weekend. (http://www.lupiciausa.com/product_p/12408231.htm) I would not have thought to flavor oolong but the fragrance was gorgeous and the flavors blended so well! Darned if it hasn't surpassed the next tea I was planning on trying.
