I never miss a meal, no matter how much tea I drink.

This morning, Oooooh Darjeeling again. Very satisfying tea. More aroma captured from dry leaves this morning; and more also during the steep. Nice. :)

I can easily miss a meal, particularly if I'm working (and drinking tea).
Having Golden Curls right now.
This made me smile today (tea related) http://www.yamatuti.ch/produkte/details ... al/kueche/

I like this second breakfast idea  Laura and of course whats a second breakfast without second tea to go along with that second breakfast  Think of the possibiliTEAs

I feel strange..does no one else eat the leaves? Either plain or sprinkle a little sugar on them after you've steeped all you want out of them. Delicious! I can't stand seeing all that lovely leaf go to waste.

Regards,

What a TeaDay!

I just received my Hagi SO #11 Seigan Blue Tebineri from Magokorodo in Japan. It's beautiful! And, I received my refill of Black Dragon Peals and a canister of Currant Berry blend from Adagio--bought partially with a gift certificate! :D

I'll have to gather my non-Western style teaware together and share it in the teaware threads! :D

More Oooooh Darjeeling this afternoon for my 4 o'clock cuppa'.

speaking of not eating, heard about that holy man in india who supposedly hasnt eaten or drank anything for 70 odd years? Surviving just on meditation and fresh air apparently.

They have him on lockdown under close guard in a hospital now for observation which is kind of messed up. Treating him like a experiment.
It has been more then 120 hours since he was admitted and he has not had a single crumb or drop so far.

Reminds me of a story I heard about a german man who supposedly survived for 40 years apparently on sunlight.

I use "spent" leaves to make tea-flavored ice cream when I'm at home and have access to my ice cream maker-- I just put the whole leaves in the mix (or I chop them up a little, depending), so I don't think it's so strange. :)

But yeah, I miss meals a lot-- I'm majoring in physics and have two minors, so I only really have time to eat one (BIG) meal and one snack every day. Tea is easier to consume while I'm doing homework, so it's kind of replaced breakfast and lunch...

Began with some lapsang souchong, now drinking some gunpowder green. I'll probably end the day with something herbal to make absolutely sure I'm not up all night studying.

LauraW, so far I can only tell you that the aroma upon opening the canister is absolutely awesome!! Fruity, flowery; I think my GD and I are really going to like this one. We will sample it tomorrow around Derby time! (She's a horse-crazy equestrian!)

I am sure we all want to see her! Don't throw it at Ed, it is clearly a lethal weapon!

Glad to see you made use of the GC!

Wow, it is Derby time already, must also be Shincha time.

I miss meals all the time, which is crazy for me since I seem to "bonk" really easily. So yes, tea does cause me to miss meals quite often actually.

Then I will hit the wall and throw anything and everything in my mouth. Not the best habit. Fortunately I rarely have too much bad stuff close at hand.

Began the TD with the under the car seat shincha sample from 2009. I am sooo glad there is any sencha around here! I am going flippin' nutz waiting for shincha to arrive.

Anyway, the sencha was pretty decent considering, probably better than any sencha I had for the first 6 years drinking tea.

Regards,
Y'know, I hadn't considered it before, Corona. But I've had a Burmese tea leaf salad and it was awesome, so I'm totally going to eat the next batch of oolong leaves I brew to exhaustion. Thanks!

It's an even better TeaDay when you come home to teaware in the mail! Received my TC TA SO #1 Pink Shino Chawan today. Its beautiful! I'll have to get some photo's tomorrow to post.

Afternoon tea was White Peony. Don't drink this very often, but each time I do I wonder why?
