hey I am absolutely with you on that
But I have been sooooo indifferent about the poll.
So I have choosen - natural colour of teapot as second option. I like coulours - I have a white cup but I also like my jade-green and gray one. And I realy like to buy a aka-raku
TD started with a break and a matcha izumi. At work I just had a herbal tea - something to calm down

After work I enjoyed the premium kabusecha from aiya and now I have the rest of my milky oolong.

I used to be all about white when it came to teaware! Plus some glass.
But I have always been a color person, so these two ideals sort of clashed. I got over it and drink tea out of whatever color I damn well please!
I cannot pick a color quite yet ... hopefully I will be able to answer this today.
Mono, bi, multi, bring it all on.
Began the TD with some dribs and drabs of Kinari from Maiko and Shincha Tradtional from Hibiki-an. Came out quite well, which it should since they are likely both Yabukita and are Asamushi. SweeTea joined it however Kati and Shincha were passerbies ...

Tried Silver Needle Premium Organic White Tea today. Middle of the road with it. Made my spousal unit ice tea with it; he said it was a different experience.
Yesterday was the hottest day we have had in the last two years and we have had very high humidity. Our a/c is acting up! In fact, I drank iced tea for the first time in years here in the house because

it was too hot for hot tea!

I'm not very picky with the colors but I do have tendency to go for earthy or natural tones.

... OK, this jogged my thinking a bit, finally. I am more earthy in teapots and more not so earthy in drinking vessels.
Though I still am not ready to commit to A color.
TD continues with YM from O-Cha!

I love white porcelain and the color of yixing clay. Nothing compares to either for me

Depends on my mood. A few months ago I did a paint-your-own-pottery cup and painted the inside purple. I still use the cup all the time, but regret the purple inside because I can't see the color of my tea. I also like glass, earth tones, pretty much everything, although I haven't quite gotten on board with the Hagiware.
Grand Qimen this morning, nothing at work, possibly some tea tonight for my wedding anniversary. After 29 years, we couldn't come up with anything more exciting than Subway for dinner. Are we romantic or what?

And yet we still like you!

Happy anniversary geeber!
Another session with the '10 Gua Feng Zhai today. Very light for such young sheng, even with the smokiness.
Thinking of cupping some of my FF darjeeling later today. Gonna compare the '10 Yashodhara, Sungma, Castleton Estate, and Margaret's Hope. Should be interesting!

Happy Anniversry,
geeber! My son & DIL will be married 25 years tomorrow.

These two pics should say it all:
and
Blue and multitoned for me! Though there's definitely something to be said for white - especially until I get used to how a tea should look. Haven't gotten into glass... yet.
Yunnan noir all day at work. Long day - training a new secretary this week.

Laura, sweeeeet cups!
Thanks Chip, Nick, and Artmom for the anniversary wishes! We are pretty much homebodies, so take-out from Subway suits us just fine! It will be followed up with Strawberry Shortcake for dessert.
It's a bit late for me to have tea, but tomorrow I will have mine in my new cup from Bill of Split-Fire Pottery! I'll try to post a photo on TeaWare Show-Off, but I will have to wait for my film (yes, FILM!) to be developed after taking the picture. Our digital camera was ruined last week - long story - so we are currently taking photos 'old school.'

My husband and I had our 2nd wedding anniversary dinner at Panda Express (mall food court steam table food) haha, as it's a long-standing inside joke and I was unemployed at the time.
So congratulations geeber, from a fellow non-standard anniversary celebrator! May you have many more.

That should put some spring in your step! Enjoy!
Just soggy leaf tea tonight, but still quite tasty!
