I did choose C - but I'm in straight direction to B :)
Just learning, trying - and hopefully getting real good ones.

Today no tea in the morning :( - unfortunately didn't get up easy and then there has been no time.
At work only a herbal tea - calmed me down and I really got tired, so I got back on coffee ;)
And finally home I started with a nice cup of Matcha Izumi from Aiya, followed by my Milky Oolong - in the 9th steeping right now and sure it will give me 10 :)
I will give Den's Genmaicha Extra Green another try today and I think I'll end the day with a nice Yellow Needle Yunan.

Tried my sample of Lochan's Khongea FTGFOP 1 Assam 1st Flush 2010 just now.

It had a hint of "grassiness" aroma in the dried leaves. So I was a bit wary (remember, grass is green  ) but after steeping and drinking, I found this grassiness quite pleasant -- (Chip, am I getting called to the Dark Side? :D ). Very pleasing Assam, using just a drop of milk, it was good without any accompaniement.

Sounds like "Conspiracy Theory."

Next up ... something green! Maybe Adagio Shincha ...

I would say I have some teas I just wont drink. For the most part, what I have I really enjoy. I wouldn't say my teas are A's because I don't have any teas that are my absolute favorites( Japanese Greens) so far. I am still exploring and there have only been few teas that have wowed me. Plus I haven't spent a lot on my teas, so I haven't had first upper top grade class teas. First tea of the day is Adagios white peach. One of my favorites (that I have). Those cup points come in handy!

Not counting the tea I won´t drink and probably should just throw out A´s

I have some very good oolongs from Floating Leaves Tea, 2004 Liu An and a 2001 Xiaguan tuo...so while I have some very good teas my stash is getting a bit bare.

I should be able to get some Darjeeling and more Oolongs in July though :)

I prefer to provide my teas an open learning environment without traditional grading methodologies to encourage growth and creativity. My teas rate themselves an Alligator. <<<^^^^'=< (Arrested Development ref! )

Finally getting around to posting again after my trip. I came back Sunday night but with all the unpacking and things to catch up on its been a while since I posted. Lots of interesting topics to read over the past week.

All A's! Its hard to find a tea I don't like. I broke into fresh yancha the past few days and they're all A's.

tie luo han today.

I finished the last of my '07 Golden Needle White Lotus shupu sample today. I'm gonna miss it.

Had some '10 FF Margaret's Hope darjeeling, too. Very clean, but pungent.

Long Jing later? We'll see..

Hope everyone's TeaDay is going well! :D

Overall 'B' - have only opened 3 of the 10 shinchas I received - and they are good, but nothing 'off the hook' yet. Matcha's been 'A' great tho.

Sipping some nice puerh just now (and may be about to nibble some single-bean dark chocolate I just acquired, haven't decided, heh heh).

Cheers.

Rather boring TeaDay today - got to work and realized I didn't actually have any MF Marco Polo with me... so went with some Peach Flambee instead - only had 3 cups all day, and 2 of them nearly got too cold to drink before I finished them. No tea when I got home. I did make some watermelon lemonade to go with dinner though, which was very tasty!

I generally dislike work days that keep me too busy for even the usual amount of tea - but the rest of the week should calm down a bit, a couple people are out of town.

Thanks again for coloring our TD Seeker.

Continued with Adagio's Masters Shincha followed by Maiko's Kinari with Mrs. Chip while packing OTTI-s. Brewed up the Kinari extra strong and it came out really amazing!

As always, enjoying reading everyones posts!

Inspired by the discussion in another topic, drinking some of my 2009 Lao Mansa sheng puerh from Norbu. Infusing short and cool--170 degrees F, about 10-20 seconds, for a gaiwan about 1/2 full now that the leaves have expanded. Sweet, thick bodied, touch of earthy and smoky, but only hints of astringency and bitterness, give it an A.
