Probably not but I think I would create my own special tea room or tea hut/house right here at home!
Matcha was 1st of the day of course, and in my wan now is a mix of jg's.
Cheers.
Re: Monday TeaDay 7/12 Unlimited TeaFunds?
Today my answer is "not really". Next week my answer might be different, as a 100 gram package of O-Cha Yame Gyokuro is on it's way to my little home. I understand that Gyokuro addiction is expensive, albeit legal.

I would say a lot at first, then a bit. If I had unlimited funds my first step would be to sample a bunch of the more expensive teas to see what I like!
I started the Tea Day with the Rishi Silver needle as well JRS22! The very last of my OTTI teas
This afternoon Houjicha Gold from Den's

Re: Monday TeaDay 7/12 Unlimited TeaFunds?
Being a college student, my TeaFunds are usually low. Given unlimited TeaFunds, I would definitely be buying more expensive (and older) Puerhs, top quality Oolongs & Senchas, and definitely more teaware!
Started today by opening my '08 Xiaguan FT "Happy" tuo. I've had it for a while but haven't sampled it for some reason. It ended up being a real treat!
Dark tobacco, malt, sweet leather, and lots of mushroom aftertaste. Somewhat simple, but very enjoyable, especially at $5/100g tuo.
LongJing is up next today.

I've thought of this a bit more; and I've decided if I had unlimited TeaFunds, I'd hire a butler or houseman to make my any tea I wanted and bring it to me!

TEA TIME!!! lol. had round 2 on my superduper oolong this morning. (I put it in a yixing to save it after yesterday's gaiwan session. YUM!)
Wasted the whole morning and most of the afternoon, then I felt guilty so I ran outside and pulled up a whole 60gal bin full of weeds. That reminded me of reason #eleventy why I don't like yardwork - I now have allergy rash all over my forearms, neck, cheeks and *ahem* b@@bs.
It's not fun, it's not pretty, and dangit, my backyard is STILL full of weeds.
Now I am back inside, showered, and drinking the last of my jasmine pearl iced tea. I have to remember to get more, this is our favorite for iced, it's soooo good with fresh local honey. And at least when I'm holding my tea glass, I don't look like quite the monkeymaniac trying to scratch all of my pollen-y itches...
ai-yi-yi!!!

A little. I would surely try more teas, well even more than now. But would be more apt to try some of the really spectacular offerings that just make me snicker upon seeing the prices.

Began the TD without the internet, have the internet now, so things are looking up. TD wise began with Yutaka Midori Supreme from the O-C withy the Mrs. which was living up to its name. Next up, a tasting of Moe from Zencha. And last was a tasting of SP Shincha from Maeda-en.
Re: Monday TeaDay 7/12 Unlimited TeaFunds?
With unlimited TeaFunds... my wishlist would go down and my teastock would grow... as I continue to discover what it is that I prefer, I'm starting a list of teas/vendors to try. As such, I'd definitely try more teas, and wouldn't be so stingy about buying teawares. And would probably try some teas I might not otherwise. TeaFunds are still limited, so the list grows while the cabinet slowly empties.
Yunnan Noir at work, though only had 2 quick cups in the morning because the AC was out in the building apparently since early yesterday, and it was absolutely hot until about noon, when it finally started to cool down, then it got warmer again about 3:30. We were all pretty much sweating all day. Went out for dinner, came back and wore out some Snowbud leaves - I usually get about 5-6 infusions out of it. Really hoping the AC's fixed tomorrow.

Re: Monday TeaDay 7/12 Unlimited TeaFunds?
Ended the day with quite the Puerh session. I had bought the 2008 Mengku Banmu Bingdao brick from Puerhshop quite a while ago and only sampled it once. I remember thinking it was good, but my unrefined palate couldn't tell how good it really is.
At $23/250g brick, it wasn't cheap, but well worth it IMO. Full of white sugar that evolves into a thick maple syrup taste. I caught plums at the beginning and bananas towards the end. At 25 infusions, I was too bloated to continue.
The leaves are still in the pot for later!

Assuming truly unlimited funds, one might also consider purchase of a few small tea estates, staffing them with tea masters, and sharing the results with the many dear friends someone with unlimited funds is likely to acquire....

Re: Monday TeaDay 7/12 Unlimited TeaFunds?
If I had truly unlimited funds I would probably buy only teas that were worth more than their weight in gold just to see how it tasted. Before that got old, I would travel around and taste teas where they are grown all over the world, purchasing what I like best. When that got old I would go back to just drinking whatever I found out that I liked. I would probably however advertise on a fairly regular basis that I want to try new teas and I would be happy to buy teas just to taste them. I'm sure my tastes would change plenty in the process, but it would be worth it in every way.
