Re: Yixing Teapot site.
OK, I got the picture. So...the links provided in this thread lead to unadulterated pots, right? Last thing I want is to purchase a product that has toxic substances added to the production process.

Re: Yixing Teapot site.
So, after reading a lot about chemicals in fake yixings. I thought I should probably post some of the pots I had bought a long time ago and had used up until about 5 months ago.

So how bad could it be to have drank from these for a while? Plus it seems this company sells to a lot of other stores around the world. All of their products have a black and red sticker on them with white writing. I don't know if this is a sticker just for their company or if it is used everywhere but I have seen products with their stickers on them on other websites that people have linked as trusted.
and example of the sticker is seen here

Call your family and loved ones as soon as possible. Tell them you love them. You gonna die!Cyphre wrote: So how bad could it be to have drank from these for a while?

But seriously... I really wouldn't sweat it. Just because some manufacturers might add chemical dyes/powders to clay in order to achieve a certain color, it's not like there are evil scientists adding asbestos, lead powder, and fiberglass just to hurt people. I aim to use natural clay as much as possible, but eating fast food, or walking down the street in a big polluted city day after day is probably a lot more hazardous to your health.

Re: Yixing Teapot site.
that's good to know. Honestly, I had no idea what could be the possibly side effects.
