2nd Flush 2010 Hattialli Golden Lion Assam from India.
I think this is a black tea that even TeaChatters who think they don't like black tea would enjoy, if brewed at suggested temperatures by Lochan Teas. Yum.
I'm ready for another cruise -- like in a norwegian fjord!!!
I am seriously over this heat--it keeps me really confined to home--even in the late evenings!!!

Well, hopefully at least you are spending time with your granddaughters ... and now have the time to learn how to brew Greens!
Seriously, this heat is determined to dig its heels in and stay awhile. I'm also ready for it to hit the pike! Take care of yourself and stay cool, artmom.

I´d bring 2004 raw Liu An...I happened to snap it up out of curiosity when Jing Tea Shop had it a few years ago...I´ve seen a bit of curiousity on the forum about this kind of tea and I think not many people are familiar with it so it would be an interesting experience

I don't think I'd bring a Puerh as it's a pretty acquired taste to say the least. Maybe a yunnan black, it's pretty easy to appreciate the smoothness and silky mouthfeel.
American Hao 0903 today. Nice leaves, nice tea.

I would consider something that most people would like. And that would be Golden Curls (Adagio, Masters Collection).
Huang Jin Bolero in my cup.

It seems to work (of course it could just be all in my head). Seems to work atleast as well as sudafed, only a lot easier to get my hands on, i went to three pharmacies yesterday and they were all out. It doesnt dry me out like sudafed and is more pleasant to take.

I figured there will be a lot of nice oolongs and greens already with this crowd, and a really delicate puerh might tempt a few of them into the fold.nickE wrote:I don't think I'd bring a Puerh as it's a pretty acquired taste to say the least.

Great TD, next up a tasting of Rishi's Nishi Organic. Currently Kirameki from the O-C.

Wow, this is sounding like a much. much better version of the potluck tea parties I hold at school... I have to get more of my friends to be tea fanatics, maybe the tea parties will reach the caliber of what people are mentioning here!
Currently drinking some of the rose sencha that I would definitely bring. Fortunately, I'm returning to Chinatown soon, so I don't have to ration it too much over the next couple weeks.
