You need an "other" category.
"John is busy searching the island for clay deposits to set up a workshop with a wood-fired kiln and start producing teawares."
best,

Of course, that was assumed (actually all available options were used up), but you still need a spot a tea for motivation!JBaymore wrote:You need an "other" category.

Given the shipwreck situation, I wouldn't want to take clams.......... that would appear a bit shellfish.Chip wrote:So, I guess we will be paying for teaware in clams?

After I finish brewing up some Puerh with my best bud Pyrit
I think I'll go visit Entropy for some Shincha.
Speaking of Shincha, Rishi's Nishi last night was absolutely sublime. I find that Asa's are pretty tough to brew, but when you nail 'em they can be amazing.
Started today with some Hongcha enjoyed in my Shyrabbit TASO. Nice caffeine rush to start the day.

For the record the Shincha leaves were in the Kyusu when we struck the iceberg. They were unused they were just exposed to air a little bit, it actually turned out quite nice (in an unexpected sort of way)!

Until your kiln is working I thought we might be using Clam Shells as Tea BowlsJBaymore wrote:Given the shipwreck situation, I wouldn't want to take clams.......... that would appear a bit shellfish.Chip wrote:So, I guess we will be paying for teaware in clams?![]()

I voted for Debunix, but only after TeaSnacks are made!! Shipwrecks do make for very hungry people. Let's just hope there's an oven around here somewhere... or maybe John can whip me up a clay one?
Maybe a tandoori for some TeaNaan?

Actually I'll first be checking which teas survived, sorting through to seenwhat kind of tastings we can have, but I might need some
nice puerh to calm down enough to start that, after our narrow escape from disaster. Getting the down-with-the-ship folks to realize we have abundant tea, tea seeds, and pots enough to make things bearable made for some tense last minute rescues. And that means I need some pu with nick!
Sayamakaori shincha and norbu tie guan yin Friday.

Awww thanks Geeber for thinking of me. I was a bit seasick with all the tossing to and fro, I was in my cabin.geeber1 wrote:Ummm, did Victoria make it to shore? Cuz I need some of her high mountain oolong to quench my thirst after planting all those seeds!
And did anyone bring BLACK tea?
I grabbed the last lifeboat and I made it safely ashore finally, but I see I missed mention on the poll!
You know I have some black tea stashed away with my oolongs! Good thing it was all in airtight containers!
