haha, I see it didn´t take long to get back in the house!
Actually, this was crumbs enough for about 1/4 of a normal session brewed in a tiny Korean travel set. Ha, 1.5 ounce steeps is a bit of a tease, but not wasting a single crumb of this leaf!

Tea Trekkers Ujeon, and wow, it really got me exited to try the two teas I actually ordered from them (this was a complementary sample included with my order).

Wow, this has been a non-stop week. I've barely been at my computer at all! My boyfriend's computer died a couple weeks ago, which makes him want to go do things - or just sit in front of the tv. But it means I go sit and watch with him, which definitely cuts down on my internet time. Which means no TC! (boo!)

Big surprise here: Yunnan Noir most of the week at work. Had a stressed-out friend over last night, so I broke out the MF Marco Polo, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Today: Snowbud! Thinking I'll take some Four Season Spring oolong with me to a friend's for dinner.

The technology will change, possibly rapidly, but people change more slowly. I think there will still be a demand in 10 years for conversations that don't require everyone to be present at the same time, but that do allow us to discuss the many varieties of topics within the general topic of tea. And we must be able to post photos..

I've given up on online chat on a hobby website because there was no way to have an in-depth discussion, even with a moderator (maybe because of the moderator). The forum on that website is much more interesting, because everyone gets to post detailed discussions and responses - just like here.

No tea today - I hope the weekend will be quieter.

It's been a pleasant teaDay so far: getting ready for a head to head between two sencha samples tomorrow, I drank some Anji white tea to get the day started. Then this afternoon a brilliant infusion of the loose Wuliang Shan puerh from norbu, which I shared with so many people that we ran out before the end of clinic. Now enjoying some Bao Hong green from Yunnan Sourcing, and facing a long evening of paperwork, there will be at least a fourth before I sleep.

Don't know where I'll discuss this in the future. But I do know that I am finally starting to keep a log of my tea reviews, as posted here and on other forums, and I hope this 'virtual notebook' will still be a source for learning and exploring a decade from now.

As Georg Buechner reportedly said, revolutions devour their own children, and I fear the Internet revolution will be no exception, much as I'd like to see TC go on forever. Adagio may be the proper tempo for teachatters, but the barbarians seem to prefer allegro, if not presto.

Finished off some fairly uninspiring Huangshan Maofeng earlier in the day, getting acquainted with O-C's Oku Yutaka at the moment.

Nice pics Adam!

Today I had a sample of 1996 8582. It's a nice tea, smoth & mellow. Now I'm thinking of brewing up some Sencha to end the day.
