Still too early in my tea journey to get bored! But I also don't go a lot into ceremony with my tea making. Sometimes on the weekends I will spend a bit more time, especially with matcha/sencha.
Today was my third session with my first Pu-erh - was an extra sample thrown in with my order - 2003 Menghai Ripe Pu-erh. I will admit to not being very traditional with the brewing - using my IngenuiTEA. But still doing small quantities at a time. I am really liking this tea and look forward to trying more. I still have a horrible problem with describing what I like about a tea. This tea had a nice rich feel to it, quite satisfying.
Still have a couple more to try, and more on the way (OTTI yea!) I also ordered the sampler from Bana Tea that Tingjunk gave us a heads up on.

Re: Wednesday TeaDay 9/1/10 TeaBoard?
"Definitely not"... I never get bored of my tea sessions. Either I'm drinking tea while doing something interesting (like studying, reading, drawing, etc.), drinking tea with a friend, or drinking tea while taking a much-needed break.
Three cups of rose congou earlier this morning, currently drinking sencha with lotus leaves.

As I'm sure it is with many people, I have my ups and downs. Sometimes I love the ceremony of it all, and sometimes I just want some tea without all the kerfuffle.

Only occasionally, in which case I'd stop drinking tea for a few days and then come right back to it.
Actually, I've not had a proper tea session for about 4 days now. It's just too hot in my non air conditioned dorm right now. I've been drinking tea "grandpa style" in the evenings for the past few days however.
I'm trying not to weird-out my roommate too quickly with a full-on tea session. I think I'll ease him into it.
DHP grandpa style currently.

Tea drinking is never formal for me...and I certainly don´t get bored of it. Tea is always an enjoyable and comforting experience for me and it makes up a pleasant part of my day I´d sorely miss if I had to go without.
Started todays teaday with genmaicha with matcha and then Yutaka Midori Supreme...both from O-cha.
With the weather getting colder I´m thinking about oolong again...but I´m finding green tea can be more than light and refreshing and the deep umami of Japanese green I´m finding comforting in the chilly autumn weather that we´re getting already.

I never tire of tea. I drink whatever I'm in the mood for, and that changes constantly.

So finished breaking apart almost 1500 grams of sheng pu-erh for OTTI 5 ... quite an accomplishment given I never broke apart any pu-erh previously. Then did a full leaf tasting with the Mrs. of the Nannou Mt. from MandarinsTearoom, aka Tim. I previously did a prelim tasting with just shakings ... the full leaf was so much mellower.

I do not find tea boring. I do crave variety in which tea I drink, and do not always have the time for a nice gongfu session, but tea and tea making have not yet approached boring.
Today I was intrigued by varying the time and temperature parameters on a Yuuki-cha shincha (Kabusecha), appreciated the mellowness of my staple Sea Dyke brand Ti Kuan Yin, and have enjoyed short gongfu sessions with some Wing Hop Fung Dragon Well (not so short, actually, got 8 or 9 infusions before it dwindled), Sichuan yellow tea (Norbu), and now am playing with two Da Wu Ye, one sample from Camellia Sinensis (from a tea swap) and one Dan Cong from Tea Habitat. This last is definitely not boring, because one infusion it seems like the Dan Cong is silky and smooth, and the next the CS tea has lost the rough edges that were so prominent in the Dan Cong. Odd, but not boring!

Voted 'yes, sometimes', but I don't get bored, just less excited.
Thank you for this question. As a result I am mulling over how to be more creative with my 'seeker-noyu'.
Cheers.

Yeah, that is pretty good way to put it actually. I grow less excited as my tea menu needs a good shake up.
