After that I made some Sakura Sencha from O-Cha and then Jin Xuan oolong from FLT
Re: Friday TeaDay 9/3/10 TeaMetamorphose?
Started my teaday with matcha "milkshake" (I used rice milk)...made it nice and frothy with the blender and I shifted it first so no lumps...it was very refreshing with breakfast

Not really. The time of the day influences my tea preference much more. I like to drink stronger, heavier teas (especially Assam maybe with milk) and Long Jing in the morning, and then work my way into lighter Darjeelings throughout the day. I prefer hojicha (bancha) or chamomile teas in the evening.

I haven't really changed. I've been drinking a little more black tea lately because that is all I have in the new house right now until I get a chance to bring all my other teas over. Drinking simple and plain Assam right now and thinking about making chai.

When I turned the calendar page to September I began to crave Houjica in the evening, despite the heat and humidity. Soon (tomorrow) my houseguest leaves and September becomes the month of pu-erh, what with the OTTI and a gift of samples from a gracious and generous fellow teachatter.

The weather doesn't affect my tea consumption at all-- I drink a ton of hot tea no matter how disgustingly hot it is outside.
Keemun this afternoon, currently drinking rose sencha, yum yum.

Today started with sencha, as usual, then moved on to more Sea Dyke Ti Kuan Yin. It just feels right at the moment.

Yes, absolutely. I drink far more heavier, warmer teas. The problem is I'm running out of darker teas :l .

Tho I have had a couple of iced teas of late - quite a drop off from previous years' habit where I'd guzzle copious amounts of iced tea all day (unsweetened/untainted by sugar or any additives, and almost always home brewed).

I cold brewed sencha about a week ago, did not touch it even through the heat wave ... finally had to toss it. I never toss hot brewed tea.
So, I don't think I morph much one way or the other.
Great TeaDay, mostly sencha followed with a sheng.
