No crave factor. I like some I have had, I've hated some I have had. I haven't had a chance to get into the OTTI tasting yet. I have a pretty full plate of teas going on right now. I'm interested but that's about as far as I can commit.

Black Dragon Pearls in my cup this morning.

Number six.

I always get cravings from the things I like...my cravings are what drives me! and I like Pu-erh so why wouldn't I crave it?

Don't crave pu-erh; however, I've only tried one and it was very mushroomy. Will try others at some point.

Running really late with my day; up late, shower, etc., so no Tea yet. But it will be an assam.

I drink puerh about three times a year which indicates that my crave factor is quite low.

Kanro gyokuro this evening.

Voted: 8 really crave.
I really crave many teas, and my cravings shift.
Puerh is one I crave regularly along with matcha and shincha & sencha.
Cheers.

Wako matcha earlier, and some high quality Baochong now.

But no cravings at this poing

Yunnan Jig in my cup this morning.

I would sooner blame the puerh you tried than anything. Many puerh´s sold by western vendors are terrible...they´re shu (pile fermented) from obviously questionable sources...I seriously wonder who in their right mind would source something that smells like manure for people to drink.

My first puerh experience was awful had me thinking I was drinking a mixture of manure, dust and mould...but I gave puerh a 2nd try by ordering a Xiaguan tuo from Jing Tea Shop a few years ago...MUCH better experience! Reminded me of dark chocolate and dried fruits.

Today is a puerh day my OTTI package arrived...I´m trying the Mansai first...1st infusion was light, smokey and sweet...will have more later but I am really enjoying this :) It´s filling my room with a lovely aroma too.

As to how much I crave puerh....not really...I enjoy it sometimes but is not something I find myself craving at all like I do with some other teas.

Well the board is certainly going Puerh crazy! So interest is high in general I would say. I'm not feeling inclinded to try my samples just yet though. Not sure why. Maybe becasue I have so much oolong on hand. But then, I always do. Hummm.

Right now I am drinking some jasmine oolong from Red Blossom. It's ok, an impulse buy.

Not really into Puerh, unless I'm eating dim sum. I haven't had much of the stuff, admittedly.

I've been downing some old Phoenix White Leaf oolong I found lurking on my tea storage cart today. It's good enough, I guess. Tastes better cold.

Man, finishing up with school has really screwed up my forum checking routine. I am so out of the loop here!

I'm relatively new to pu-erh and I like semi-aged sheng (haven't had the chance to try something really old). I haven't found a young sheng yet that I like and the shu samples I tried tasted like dirty water.

Come on, jump on the bandwagon.

Welcome to TeaChatJeiCun!

Sencha, what is that?

Sencha reigns supreme here as well, but lately craving pu-erh after trying some very nice young sheng via OTTI from TheMandarinsTeaRoom and EssenceOfTea. Really enjoying them!

Began the TD with a tasting of a new sencha, SweeTea jpined the tasting while Fuji and Payrit were spectators at the TeaTable. Next up, more sencha.

And about the serve up some of the Pu-OTTI, I think Manmai ...

My experience is too limited to have an opinion. I did like Yunnan Pu Erh Gold from Adagio despite the fact that the smell was kind of funky.

Having 3rd steep of Anhui Keemun.

Wow, great shot Jeikun! Really coming to life. Is that Shigaraki wan?

The sencha is a possible OTTI tasting, so for now ... I cannot say. But it is Uji-cha as well.
