brandon, I tasted a white pu'erh a while ago too, a friend couple was kind enough to brew their last bit of the cake for me to taste. It was wonderful, smooth, yet light and fruity, delicate, almost creamy mouth feeling.

Craving is a too strong word for me
. I drink white and I really like yellow, but somehow I find myself buying them much more seldom than eg. oolong.

"might be too strong a word"
On the crave-o-range scale, white/yellow are WAYYYY above green, but quite a bit lower than Oolong and Pu.
Today in my cup - the last of my OB (sob!) I was planning on getting more before I ran out. Fail.

I have craved white teas in the past, but I am not craving any right now. I don't think I've had any yellow teas. I would be very interested in trying one.

I've never tried yellow tea, but I've had bai mu dan a couple times. It had hardly any flavor at all, even when piling on the leaves. Silver needles is supposed to have even less flavor, so I haven't felt like trying that one. Am I really missing out?

I have to go with 6 - occasionally I'd call it a craving, but definitely not often. I'm starting to run low on Snowbud, this might mean a tea order in the near future.. maybe I'll try something different. Oh, who am I kidding, I'll try a couple new things, but I'll get another 5oz bag of Snowbud.
Yunnan Noir all day at work - oversteeped twice because I wasn't paying attention, but it was fine (as long as it's not the first steep, it's usually not bitter even after 10 mins).

10 - I can't resist white tea. In fact, I'm not resisting white tea right now!
I've never had a yellow, though, but would like to try.

Craving time! Just finished a loose white puerh with some eggs.

But my real craving is Breakfast Food.
Who knew?

Is that coaster/plate made from a slice of tree?

I've got one yellow tea in my current everyday stash, and I rather enjoy it; I can also think of some whites that I've been fairly partial to over the years. But the big 10 definitely goes to green. No contest.
So naturally there's green in my cup at the moment: O-Cha's Oku Yutaka--hardly my fave of the season, but not half bad...

No craving factor on the white or yellow teas. Right now I'm enjoying some Keemun Mao Feng that I just got today from TeaSource. I probably won't sleep, but it's worth it.

It's odd-- I love white tea, but I don't crave it before I start drinking it (after that first sip, though...all bets are off
). So I went with 5.
Rose congou this afternoon. Just finished off some pre-wisdom-tooth-yanking gyokuro. Ugh, I hope I can drink tea tomorrow, I'm gonna need some after that lovely experience. >.<

I enjoy white and yellow teas, but Japanes greens and Chinese oolongs seem generally to crowd out other types of tea.
Silver needles and Adam's Peak white teas are delicious at any time of the day, and yellow teas are good for a late-night lift -- at least that's when I like to drink them. All four of Teaspring's 2009 yellow offerings were quite good, even the unusual wei shan mao jian which smelled like barbecued potato chips!
Today's breakfast tea was Hou de's shui xian, lunch tea was Ippodo's Kumpu, and I brewed Tea Gallery's Lion's Peak dragonwell for my son and a friend after supper.

I voted 5, maybe.. I do like them but don't drink 'em very often. The crave level isn't too high either I guess.
No tea again today.
