This weekend's TeaRoom poll and discussion topic has nothing to do with tea, just a break from the TeaTalk for a change. If you turn on the TV, what do you watch? Please share.

Re: Weekend TeaRoom TeaDay 9/18-19/10 Choose your TV poison?

I tend to like dramas the most. Loved The Wire, Lost & True Blood (which may be more of a comedy). Today drinking some Lishan Cui Luan from Floating Leaves (I'm almost out :( )

I read more than watch TV, but I do have some shows I like to watch. Sci-Fi, Drama and Cooking were my choices. A movie occasionally, but I don't usually like more than an hour a time in front of the TV.

The 'drama' shows I watch are ones with comedy mixed in, like House, Bones, Rizzolli and Isles. Also like SciFi channel shows Warehouse 13 and Haven.

Tried a sample of keemun rhapsody today, I think Keemun is the only black tea I have not tried until now. Was surprised how different it was. Very chocolaty!

I don't just watch one thing.
Sci-fi, history, weather, cooking, science, biography, movies, pbs, adult swim ...whatever has something good on.

Oh yeah, Keemun has to be good if it is chocolaty! And dark chocolate to boot!

I really like movies, scifi, comedy in small doses ... sit coms work however none of the new ones, cooking, docs (not sure if extreme engineering fits into this category?), travel and sports.

Yeah, that's about it.

Great TD so far ... sencha to start followed by matcha with the Mrs. in a ShyRabbit tenmoku chawan ... sweet.

Movies (most anything, though preference goes to older movies when they're on), sci-fi (Star Trek, Stargate, etc.), some sitcoms (How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory being the two most-watched), and cooking shows (most anything -except- Rachel Ray. Can't stand her voice.)

Some oolong this morning for my 2 hour drive, made some rum punch with some darjeeling that I wasn't particularly fond of - turns out it's a lot better cold with some sugar, lime juice, rum and nutmeg... who knew?! I knew I was keeping it around for something...

I don't watch a lot of TV, mostly specific shows: Project Runway, The Daily Show, Star Trek. If there's an interesting documentary or cooking show on, I may watch it.

But then there's anime. Glorious, glorious anime. I don't watch that on TV, so much as on the computer, though.

Keemun this morning; chrysanthemum pu-erh this afternoon; a rosemary tisane right now.

Thank you for coloring TeaDay, Victoria.

Finishing up with a prelim tasting of Hachiju-hachiya, an asamushi from Maiko. The aroma was incredible!
