Fujian is first then Yunnan for me.

But I still started the day with Darjeeling. But next up: a new
oolong.

Have a nice day everyone!

Doc pleased with results of cataract surgery! :D

Cup of Golden Lion Assam this morning. Well, actually 2 cups already. :)
Glad to hear the positive report. Once you SEE greens, you might LIKE greens as well!

Anhui! Agreed, I think! But mostly for greens. Tai Ping Hou Kui, Lu An Gua Pian ... and yeah, the occasional Keemun.

Zhejiang is a very close second for Long Jing.

Really tough choice! A lot of great teas from a vast area. I know I don't really think about this much. I see Tibet listed, this came up somewhere yesterday.

Yeah, TGY, can you imagine if we did not have choices? Speaking of which, TGY OTTI is coming very soon!

Rabbit, you mentioned about Tibet origin tea ...

Fujian...it has wuyi and anxi! Really hard to beat that combination :)

Close second would be Guandong for dancong oolongs and ying de red tea as a nice bonus.

Now that is quite a bastardization of FFGS! I guess it is permissible given it is a "China" day.

Thanks to everyone who colors our TeaDays. We need to have a photo TeaDay sometime soon!

Fujian Province, but it was a tough choice as I also have strong favorites in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Anhui, and Yunnan.

I tried brewing 4grams of Zencha's Ultimate sencha with 30ml of water at room temperature for 4 minutes in a porcelain hohin. Wow! Intense artichoke with a bite. I really need shibouridashi.

Tea gallery's Shui Jin Gui for breakfast.

Started my teaday today with Kiri No Mori matcha from O-cha...thinking of possibly having seconds just before I run off to my afternoon classes.

Hmmmm... may be. I do have a lot of greens to sample. I was saving them for GD but I'm going to start tasting them myself. She prefers her green teas with specific Japanese meals.

All Fujian, all the time.

Rishi Tea's organic Wuyi sounds good right about now. And a Dutch chocolate cookie...

Well, I could come a knocking and pretend I am little red GD and alleviate you of your GreenBurden!

Sampled another possible OTTI sencha this AM. Just returned from the sushi bar with the Mrs. stuffed with sushi, sashimi, and the customary genmaicha.

I would say Guandong for dancongs
These teas just keep giving and giving
also flexible in the sense that you can adjust the pleasant bitterness easily if you feel like having a super sweet cup with a slight bite that allows you to savour more sip by sip

revisiting Zhejiang moajian from jing today in kyusu at work
brewed leaves are so nice to look at, their aroma is just outstanding too, very good body and taste, great value at $15 for 100g. I don't feel like I am being punished for paying so little

ChipMan - the hands in the photo belong to a real Fujianese Tea Man.
My Fujian tea gang can take your Fukamushi tea gang any day.

More photos please! I feel lonely.

Yunnan hands-down! I love Yunnan black tea, and especially pu-erh from this region. Mmmmmm...

Finished off my Keemun this afternoon, currently drinking some chrysanthemum tea.
