chopped some earl grey from harrods because the bergamont oil has lost its virtue.

some singapore breakfast tea in my cup (funny spicy blend from TWG). pretty exotic stuff...easy drinking, like eating ferrero rocher instead of a cluziel bar :)

Especially when one or more of the contestants serves food that is basically raw on the inside.....
I sometimes wonder about how they choose to prepare the dishes considering how little time they have. I've seen the judges look pretty grossed out on occasion, especially when they get those raw meat dishes!

'chopped' silver needle.
Just haven't wanted them lately.
I haven't eliminated them, just no desire for them them lately.

Matcha in my cuppa this morning.
Also a mix of sae midori and takumi.

Cheers.

Ps- started a fencing class (you know, swords) last night, 2hrs of work and fun, but boy am I sore this morning! :?
(Fenced in college, but that was 30 yrs ago.)

I do not think I had to chop any tea in September. Pretty amazing after all the OTTI (tastings), etc. There was one sencha that is going to be in a future OTTI that I had chopped before tasting prejudicially, then after tasting it actually impressed!

Began the TD late and with an opening of a box from Adagio that included 2010 Sencha Premier and zip sample bags for OTTI! YAY!!! 1 out of 4 actually plug TeaChat!
Sencha Premier in Hagi SO #8, this tea won't get chopped.

Yeah, loved the raw on the inside chicken.

Somebody call a medic.

 a few shockers here. And some not so shocking. The sae midori and takumi would likely be very good together!

Seeker a fencer?
Seeker went to college 30 years ago ...

Seeker, don't be plunging your "fence" into my spokes in order to kick my arse!

Well....I can't really vote on this pole because...I haven't "chopped" any type of tea....well except more most fruity ones...unless theyre mixed with black tea I much rather not risk the death of my taste buds >.<

"chopped" a sample of English Breakfast I have had sitting around for who knows how long. I needed the sample tin to help pack some teas for vacation. Way to many other wonderful blacks I have around to drink this.

Gold bud yunnan to start the day, then some YM supreme sencha from O-Cha. Came out of cold storage just fine! Yummm.

Whats your weapon? The flimsy whippy foil, the anything goes epee, or the lightning round Sabre?

I fenced Epee through 3 years of College, and got half way decent at it, no where near A or B ranked, but I almost earned an E rating or what ever the lowest USFA ranking is, above Unranked.

More tea than usual for me today, but such is Wednesday... Just had a session of Jin Jun Mai 2nd grade from the Mandarins tea room.

Now I am off to find a third tea for the day!

I haven't really "chopped" any specific tea. Only been drinking stuff I like recently.

Silver Needle today.

Next up, a demo by "Wulong" on the brewing and enjoyment of Fukamushi Fuji the Ultimate by Zencha. Everyone enjoyed the demo that was full of clever CatWit and served with cat treats on the side (not pictured).

I chopped Good Earth sunset red tea - bought it to stand in for my usual red tea, but neglected to note the licorice root in the ingredients. Licorice roobios sounds bad, but tastes even worse.

Today I am drinking iced dahongpao with lavender. It was a pretty low grade, unpleasant DHP (mmm... smoked dirt) so the lavender actually improves it (mmm...smoked dirt with lavender)

closest to a chop would be DavidsTea White Peony...it looks nice...lots of small curley buds with white hairs on them...but the brew is very one dimensional sweetness without any complexity or balance...I drank two infusions of it but that was forcing myself a bit trying to like it...

but it´s not a total chop...Mom likes it so it´s all hers!

I "chopped" some Keemun from my tea collection this month (as in, I finished the canister and am probably not going to get any more until I go back to NYC, which won't be for a few months).

Yunnan black this afternoon, and I'm currently drinking some rose sencha.

If you're real nice to me, I promise to keep my electric épée blade out of your spokes, heh, heh. 8)
