Autumn is my favorite season of the year. The crisp cool air so welcome after the heat of summer. Child heading off to school. Prep for the holidays. I love it! And yes, this is the time of year I experience the most change in my life.

Fall in southern California is fire season, and waiting for the rains to start. Not a lot of fall colors until a good storm washes the sky clean. When I was in the midwest fall was crisp and gorgeous. Here, not so much.

But I still like the cooling air.

Yesterday was sencha, cold-brewed Yunnan Mao Feng, and then the Bangwai puerh from OTTI round #5.

Today is starting promisingly cool and gray. Cool enough for yardwork, and hot tea all day. Again, sencha start, and we'll see from there....

Today in Southern CA promises to be cooler and the rain over the last few days has been welcomed. However my new boots are gonna have to wait quite some time till their debut. Sandals are the norm.

Turzum From Tea Emporium to start the day.

Autumn is by far my favorite season. I wait all year for the crisp breeze to break through the California heat. It seems we go from fall, to a rainier fall, to summer. It's still in the upper 90's here, but I am patiently waiting! I'm looking forward to pumpkins, rain, and lots of hot tea!

Drinking Adagio's Darjeeling #2 this morning.

I am sure it is quite beautiful in the Autumn down there. . .

Cold is in the air this morning ... :(
It is beautiful in Autumn, and it is cold here this morning, too. 53 F.; finally, normal temps, not so hot. :D I joined the Fantasy League so I wouldn't be left out of the family conversations!

Had a great Saturday; was my DH Ed's 74th birthday and the family came over to watch football with us. Our team lost a heartbreaker :( , but we had a fun time anyway. :D

Running late with my tea today. I didn't want to leave my warm bed!

Can't say I have a 'favorite' season, but if I had to choose, I'd probably go with spring.
All seasons involve change for me.

Phoenix high mtn honey fragrance, mmmmm that's good!
Followed by a pu mix, also mmmm.
 no matcha today

(day's not over yet tho, heh, heh)

Cheers.
