To me they are good. Could be better.
To others here they might look like a joke.

mostly good...I only have a couple of really high grade teas open right now...most of what I have open now are good but fairly simple and inexpensive teas.

+1

I've been trying a variety of chinese teas, and since I've been brewing 1 gram at a time the higher priced teas are affordable. I'm waiting for an order from Jing Tea Shop - mail from China is soooo slow - and then I'll be able to compare some of their teas with Seven Cups and Teaspring. Maybe this time next year I'll choose 9.

In my cup today - Seven Cups Silver Needles, and then Teaspring TPHK.

I find it surprising that nobody voted 10. I almost did. And the good news is that virtually everyone is between 7,8,9! We are a happy bunch I would say, but always looking for improvement to a perfect 10 repertoire of teas.

Began the TD with a near perfect 10 Shuppin tasting from Maiko. Then a near perfect 10 brewing of Adagio's Sencha Premier with the Mrs. One more tea, maybe a near perfect 10 TD!?!

I put 7 good. Most of the teas I drink regularly I would rate an 8, but there are others that for some reason I just don't get rid of.

I said 7; good, as well. There are teas that I love and teas that I'm not so fond of. I'm pretty happy overall.

3 teas today! This hasn't happened since summer!!

Voting 10, to me, implies that there's no room for improvement. I like to believe that no matter how much I enjoy the teas that I have, there's something better and/or different out there. Trying new teas or the same teas from different sources is part of the fun.

I voted 9-- there are some teas missing that would make my tea collection pretty much ideal. I love everything I have, though!

Lapsang souchong this afternoon, which prompted one of my friends to sniff around and ask what was on fire. Currently drinking a ginger tisane because I got hit upside the head with epic allergies.

Finishing with Happy Tea from Maiko, a perfect end of day tea. And also OTTI 6 #2 revived from yesterday ...

My open tea selections are very good to fabulous. Not every one is fabulous for every use (solo or few person gongfu cha, vs bulk thermos brewing), and sometimes I am discontented because I keep my teas in several different places, and the one I want is not with me in that place, but there is always something tasty to drink.

So, a 9.

Although I stupidly am without sencha at this moment, I do have a lovely selection of oolongs and puerh and a favorite green tea, the Yunnan mao Feng from norbu that I started the day with. I also enjoyed a shu puerh, a palace seven sons cake from tenren.

An 8 or 8.5, I think. They're nearly all very good, only one I'm not that much a fan of that is made better mixing with mint or fruit, though definitely room for improvement.

Teaday today was matcha matsu and genmaicha with matcha.

This matcha thing is becoming a pattern....

Tasted single origin chocolate from Mexico today...but I kept it separated from the tea a bit...I didn´t want the tea affecting my tasting of the chocolate! (now that´s a switch)

I said a seven. I have some decent teas that are open right now (like Teaspring's Jun Shan Yin Zhen and Jiu Hua Fo Cha), but I have a couple not so good teas... Mostly things I bought (foolishly) off supermarket shelves. Eventually I will learn...
Had some Purple Tip Sheng Pu from a sampler I'm finishing off. I think I'll have some Dong Ding now.
