Teachat hasn't truly forced my hand at buying any tea or teaware... yet, but I'm getting very tempted to try getting my hands on one of these TC SOs. Along with that I have been reading more and more about other vendors and have been looking at many teas that are a lot pricier. I remember the first time I bought bulk tea and thought my local tearoom had a costly tea ($16 organic sencha). So we'll see how much TC costs me in the future now that I am starting to build a more versatile teaware collection.
No tea yet today... sadly (already almost 6pm here), but hopefully my sister will be joining me soon for a gongfu session with some TGY. I get to used my new kettle!

For sure, seeing that some people have a huge Hagi (or pot) collection gives me a well suited alibi to buy some more...

TeaChat hasn't really cost me much money yet, mostly because I have a college student's budget and am restricted from buying a lot.
Rose congou this afternoon; just finished off some houjicha.

Finished the tea day after a series of gongfu sessions: Wuliang Shan loose sheng puerh from Norbu, Jin Xuan spring green tea, also from Norbu, and Hankook Hwang Cha ('oolong') tea. Also fitted in a bit of chamomile and hibiscus herbal tisane middle of the day.
Good tea, and only the cups were the 'fault' of TeaChat.

Oh yea. Tea chat has cost me a lot but it was well worth it. Hagi yixing were two of the biggest costs other than the tea itself. I hadn't even heard of either until teachat but Im so glad I found them, thank you teachat.
