For me the last Pu Erh OTTI too. The Nannuo made me feel in heaven :)
And not so long ago I had a really good Long Jing that smelled unbelievable great. The whole room was scented in the greatest smell you can imagine :)

In my cup today - no not a cup - it has been a bowl - yes I had my Sencha leaves in my salad today. :)
And no tea yet :(

Within the last month, it was the honey orchid dancong from jkteashop... It was my first dancong and wasn't at all what I'd imagined it would taste like... but in a good way ;)

ummm I have to say about every day I drink tea

This morning I had tie luo han and it was a wow this tea is amazing thought. Last week when I brewed up some spring of 2009 long jing that has gone way past its prime and is even brown. Following the brew it smelled soo good and then tasted awesome despite being an older green. This probably happened because I didn't buy any spring 2010 Chinese greens this year :x and hadn't drank any in almost as long, even though they are my favorite or 2nd favorite teas. I can't wait til spring!

<1 week. It was the Togei Asamushi from OTTI 7, WOW that was good!

Also, Nada's 2010 Shengpu were all amazing this year, as well as some aged samples I received (1997 Henglichang Bulang & 1996 Orange-in-Orange).

TeaMasters' 2008 High Roast TGY also comes to mind.

Hmmm.....inspired by that lovely image, I'm now wondering what the inside of my 'Tempest' Hagi's would look like as tea-trays for photography....

Have had some Hankook Oolong today, after the sencha start to the day, not sure where to go next.

I dunno, I say "wow" a lot really. Anytime I have a really good oolong. Like today in fact, with some forgotten Spring Cui Yu From Camellia Sinensis.
WOW.

Took along a thermos wih DH to see the new Harry Potter movie this afternoon.

Last time a tea made me go "wow" was last week sometime, when I tried lavender sencha for the first time. Then I had tea with my friends yesterday, told them how yummy this tea was, and have had my supply of it halved. Oh well.

Rose congou this afternoon, currently drinking houjicha.

Having a 'wow!' right now.....had forgotten how delicately delicious the wild tea buds (Ya Bao) could be. OD'd on them for a while, and they sat in the cabinet patiently waiting another turn. Packed 'em in to the gaiwan so densely they could hardly move, and the tea is delicious.

This past weekend my wife and I went out to eat to celebrate her birthday. It was a wonderful time of respite from the whirlwind and rigors of raising a two year old. We finally got to Bombay Sitar, our local Indian restaurant. Along with some wonderful lamb curry I ordered there made-from-scratch Indian masala chai. WOW! I asked how they made it and our server said it takes them almost 30 minutes each day. Needless to say it was the perfect ending to a perfect dinner with a wonderful woman!

i'm cheating. its not so much the tea that made me say wow, it was the fact that I finally found a tea that was improved by my pot!

but for what its worth, it was a cheap DHP from tenfu :)
