I work on my "wish list" all year long.. but am running out of room in my small apartment... so will have to limit the tea ware... but that doesn't stop me from wanting to try new teas out there. A few years ago my sister surprised me with a silver teapot... very pretty... but you have to polish the darn thing. I have several tea pots I made for myself in ceramics - and one that my dad did in ceramics years ago. That one isn't the prettiest, but since dad isn't here anymore.. it brings fond memories. :D

In the cup at work to day.. white earl grey (Teavana).

Happy Birthday Ed!

I have used the upcoming holidays for two tea cup purchases already :). My husband knows he could never pick one for me, so I just get them myself. I don't wait to open them however.

And then there are the actual tea gifts I am buying for others. Hard to buy tea for someone else without adding in something for yourself :)

Christmas is a time of much fun for me, I love shopping for others... but also a time of great guilt, because I always find things for myself along the shopping journey. As for tea things, I gift myself all year long!

Need tea... had only coffee this morning. I have some iced tea in the pitcher made from a fading TGY, ginger, and honey. Its a lovely combo. But, its cold and snowing outside, and I'm craving something warm. So, I'm off to explore my MANY options.

Happy Tea Day!

Sarah

Happy Birthday Ed ! That's a nice selection of tea for today. I love Stephane's Shan Lin Shi : I have the 2 versions of this spring and this fall's on its way. Another Christmas present for me I guess...

Nope, teagift shopping for myself was in November

With slow shipping now I´m probably not likely to get anything in time for Christmas anyway.

I´m thinking about what teaware and tea to bring with me to Mexico when I´m visiting my gf. Maybe will make a few things gifts depending on how much she likes them.

Bon anniversaire Ed!

No Christmas Teagifts for me this year. I have already done all my teaware shopping for the year and didn't exceed my projected budget. I am however waiting for the last piece to arrive: an other Japanese canister.

7132 Asamushi sencha (The new one from Ocha) this evening.

Yes, sort of ... I don't think my wish list shopping increases or decreases this time of year, just continues. Always looking, don'Cha know!

Great TD, began with Yutaka Midori with the Mrs. to start followed by Oku Midori.

Kind of... I'm looking at stuff online and seeing what I want, comparing prices, making up my "what to get in Chinatown" list as far as teas for when I visit the city after the semester's out, etc. But I haven't bought anything yet.

Rose congou all day, currently drinking a ginger tisane.

I'm currently in the bad habit of "buy one gift for someone, buy two gifts for myself." I think it's because I'm away from all my friends and family this year (the last time I was away from home during the holidays was pretty awful all around), so I'm distracting myself with pretty things. The bad news: I'm running out of money...fast!

Nothing but green chai today, but it kept me alive.
