I use genmaicha with matcha teabags time to time. Quite tasty, fast and easy to use too.
Re: Monday TeaDay 2/28/10 TeaBagger odds?
Found these in my photo archive. I have a good memory of this tea, but I am really not a gyokuro expert, and it was worst at the time I had this one, so I cannot say.
At least it is better than Sir Lipton teabags, pretty dear though.
Here is the commercial link, in french, sorry.

I chose 80% likely because you can never be 100% sure of anything
. We took a trip last week to Denver and went on a tour of Celestial Seasoning and I bought some of their bagged herbals. I really wanted to get to 7cups also but I just couldn't fit it in or more accurately my kids were crazy and I didn't think 7cups would appreciate that.

How much tea do they use in their bags? O-Cha's Uji bags have been the best I have had to date with 5 grams of good sencha in them, some of Zencha's have been pretty good too. But bags of this quality have a high price ... I would rather fill my own. I have not had Sugimoto's yet though.brlarson wrote:I keep some reasonable-quality tea bags around for when I travel, and I am traveling again this weekend. I keep Sugimoto S.A. sencha teabags -- these are the best of the bag teas I have found -- and Adagio Yunnan Gold teabags for desperate travel situations. I also have the occasional infusion of Sleepytime.
Teabags I fill, maybe. But I am not planning on buying any teabags under virtually any circumstances in the near future. So, it is 0% likely. There would have to be a major change in circumstances for me to have a teabag this coming month.
Began the TD with Hosen sencha from Ippodo with the Mrs. This is a good value and would be good for a fill my own teabag.

I answered 80%.
Why? Because I'm still a complete newbie when it comes to good tea. While I've recently started researching & acquiring loose leaf tea, I still have quite a few boxes of bagged tea (various Harney & Sons flavored green teas, mostly).
The loose-leaf stuff is so much better, though. Amazing and obvious difference in scent and in taste.

There is at least a 40% chance I'll use a teabag this month.
I have several tins of teabags--mostly gifted to me. Some are quite good -- of course, all are black teas.
Also, if I'm not up to par, it's easier for my DH to do a teabag for me than asking him to brew up.

Very close to 0% but there´s the off chance one of my Aunt´s will offer teabag tea if I happen to visit. For larger family gatherings I generally bring a good loose leaf black tea to brew for everyone which is generally much appreciated

Re: Monday TeaDay 2/28/10 TeaBagger odds?
0-19% Unlikely, but their is a slight chance I may have an herbal tea before bed sometime.
Now that Im thinking about having some herbal tea, the odds just went up

I voted 0-19% - it's 0% actually - since after all those years of being a water-drinker I can subsist without tea in an emergency.
In my cup this morning, TPHK from 7 cups. I got a new supply of my two favorite greens to tide me over until the 2011 harvest.

Never sure what is going to happen, but if past months are any indicator it is highly unlikely.
Right now sencha 7132 from O-cha, just finished this pack I have one more before I'm out of it.

I guessed 80%. It could be zero though. Who knows what awaits in this mystery of life. Surprise me. I'm not above a rich, astringent bag of English Breakfast, I just don't buy the stuff normally.
Today began with a cold shooter of aged baozhong from last night's final steeping. Then moved on to kagoshima Sencha from H&S.

Only if I decide to make a poaching liquid or some such for cooking purposes. Otherwise--not a chance!
Enjoying some Tenryu Misakubo sencha tonight; taking a break from a rather rich diet of scrumptious Chinese greens for the past week.

100% likely for me-- most of the herbal tisanes I own only come in bag form. Actually, I'm having one right now (rooibos and lavender are really good for migraine headaches, I've found).
Lots of rose congou this afternoon. Currently sipping on a lavender-rooibos tisane while studying for two wildly different exams... Japanese and quantum physics.

Beautiful photo Adam!
Great TD continued with some dribs and drabs of sencha that came out pretty good.
Ended the TD with day 4 of Pu-OTTI #2, this won't die, though I am only having a couple steeps a day of it today.
