They did not tell me that Cast Iron was the best, but I knew that I did not want something that would easily break in the office. I went with cast iron because of its durability.

If you want to keep it simple but tasty, I would suggest getting a good black tea in bags and steep it right in the cup. A large cup size and one bag will get you at least two good cups of tea. That's how I do it. :D

I like the plastic gongfu teapots. The brewing part sits on top of a glass receptacle. They have a small metal ball that holds in the hot water. All you have to do is push a button, the ball lifts and the water quickly pours out into a glass pouring vessel. It think it has like a 3 second pour time! It probably works better than many of my slower pouring teapots.

You could always use a basic gaiwan. You don't even have to do the whole thing where you pour the tea into a pitcher and then into your cup. Just put some green tea leaves into the gaiwan, add water, and drink directly from it. Then when the tea is gone add more water and so on...
