Need help selecting a good green tea...

I say save the money as it sounds like you enjoy either. Buy a little expensive stuff now and again, over time you may begin to appreciate the subtleties of the expensive teas, after a lot of time you may find the differences not so subtle.

My vote for cheap healthy green tea would be Jing Tea Shop's everyday greens. Unfortunately the Bai Sha Lu is sold out.

If health is your main concern I would opt for low grade green from vendors that also offer the best of the best. Health is a fringe benefit for me, I'm currently smoking a very nice pipe tobacco whilst drinking some 1970's oolong.

Thank you all for the answers...I am more than happy to try different teas and don't have a problem paying for quality as long as it worth the expense. I drink my green tea with a lot of lemon(read that you absorb a lot more antioxidants than straight tea) so the extra smoothness of a high end tea might not make a difference. I really appreciate the link, cause to be frank my tea buying experience has been limited to Amazon.

Also, I didn't consider that it would be in good taste being a newcomer and giving the impression that I am criticizing a brand, specially when I don't know jack about teas outside of what Wikipedia says. Hence why I didn't list the names.

Finally received the Jing Long...I brewed at 185F and 2 minutes...

The flavor is quite different from the Pearls...Might sound crazy, but it reminds me of Nori...

Smells like roasted Nori...Or atleast thats the flavor that I can recall...
