Re: Looking for a gaiwan that doesn't scorch hands
Welcome. Personally, no saucer because I don't need it and also the tea table I use filters excess tea anyway, like most types.
Re: Looking for a gaiwan that doesn't scorch hands
I don't have a suggestion for a non scorching gaiwan but I simply use one of these when handling my Gaiwan.b101 wrote:Hi, as the title says, i'm looking for a new gaiwan and wanted to hear some advices and recommendations..
My needs are:
1. doesn't scorch hands (WITHOUT having to use the saucer)
2. volume: 120ml
3. High porcelain quailty - price isn't a issue as long as it doesn't cost more than 60$.
Please recommend only gaiwans you've already bought and used, and that are possible to purchase online. I don't live in the US so US based vendors aren'ts an advantage.
THANKS !

Surely that really messes with your dexterity? Seems to me that they'd have to fit very tightly to have any control over thin porcelain.AllanK wrote:I don't have a suggestion for a non scorching gaiwan but I simply use one of these when handling my Gaiwan.b101 wrote:Hi, as the title says, i'm looking for a new gaiwan and wanted to hear some advices and recommendations..
