And you can't go wrong with $16. They look use-able
Usability is good enough for me :) can't wait to start cleaning them.

Thanks for that... Before ur explanation I was looking at the 鱼化龙 that I have and I'm like "ok so the one on this side is a dragon for sure.... But what the heck is on this other side... It has the long koi barbells... But it looks like a toad." :P

Awww... Too bad. But I hope you can confirm that they can be used to brew tea... Not like made of lead or toxic paint. LoL

yu hua long means fish turn into dragon... :P
long history behind it..

there's a chinese proverb 鱼龙变化 that probably originated from song dynasty : “任蛙蟆胜负,鱼龙变化,侬方在、华胥国。”

there's knowledge on original yu hua long design in ming dynasty, but the ones that we see today in yixing wares are mimics of shao da hng's qing interpretations. a moving dragon head with a tongue on the lid, dragon on one side of pot, fish on the other.

hi Kyarazen :)

the diameter of the body is only 3 inches at it's widest. :) Apologies if I miscalculated.

   $16? It is a steal
On a more adventurous mood, take them all, start selling the ones you dont like for $10 (or even as low as $5) online, you might end up getting the ones you like for free and a handsome extra money for tea

Hello Everybody,

Here is the link to the album on Flickr. I tried my best to share it here on Teachat but I kept getting "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image."

You can say it Kyarazen, I have a sense of humor... IT'S BUTT UGLY! LOL  The fish looks like a mutated toad! LMAO!

which pots? I doubt they would be too... Wish I were that lucky :)

Could you elaborate how so? just so that I have a better understanding of what I should be looking for and noticing when assessing a pot. Please be as blunt as you'd like :)

And could I ask you what are your thoughts on the black pot and the ruyi one... those two are my favourites... they look absolutely stunning in my eyes. If they were made of cow dung I'd still love them (well maybe not  ) ...I just want to get some information on them, whatever you are able to offer. I am very appreciative :)

Yeah... Tomorrow will be clean up day :) I just realized though that I have to have a display/storage unit built soon. I need to stop buying tea stuff.
