Still in the hand of a certain user.
I'm in Melbourne and will pay/pick it up when I visit my folks, which could be in 6 mths or 1 yr time. I will buy said user a nice dinner to make it up.

I wish that price didn't make sense. Unfortunately, it does. Oh, what a world we live in.

nothing escapes these basic universal truths together with another; everyone wants to make $$ whether they deal with new teas or aged

I read your comment and then happened across this old video, serendipitous timing. The whole seven minutes is entertaining but the pertinent part is the latter half when he talks about prices and value.

That's a great video. Thanks for sharing. I hadn't seen that before.

My opinion is : it is collectable price. When there is a demand from collectors, who has lorries of money to spend on anything, even pile of dirt became a "priceless treasure, unique in its kind".
IMHO , it could be regular fake of "100 years old cake" ... etc.

Is it the Hong Kong exporter? He buys tea in quantity?

Can't resist a guy selling his Red Mark. Wonder if he'd like an old lady tea drunk girlfriend who pees too much. I see the website has an office address I could show up at unannounced.

Exporter? I'm not sure. Henry Co. deals extensively in aged puerh.

I myself am wondering now why the seller's nickname is Gremio. If he has something to do with Brazil, let's talk, buddy.

This topic has me all worked up now thinking about Henry and his Red Mark. I keep checking in case someone posts his address.
