I made this without knowing what I was going to be drinking. I actually waited until I got a few sips in before finding out. My first impression was wow, that's pretty good for a plain black tea. It's not bad, I don't hate it.
I do like the initial smoothness of it. I find that the flavor goes through changes as the temperature changes, I enjoyed that for sure. But at some point I got a little bit of bitterness, not enough to ruin it for me, but I think that next time I have a cup of this I will add a little bit of cream. I don't know if I will add this to my collection or not. I am so glad I got to try it. I don't typically go out of my to try plain black teas.

I'm still learning about the different varieties and blends of plain black tea and finding my preferences. This was pretty good but I think it proves that I'm more of a Ceylon girl.

That sounds like a delicious blend, thank you for the suggestion. I go back and forth, too, and appreciate both. I've had SB before, but GM will be new, but now I'm eager to try this.buddlepeletoo wrote:Try a 50/50 blend of Scottish Breakfast tea and Golden Monkey. I am a back and forth coffee/tea drinker and really like that combo. The Golden Monkey adds even more roundness, smoothness, and body. That combination may be the best cup of tea I've tasted, ever.isisanubis wrote:I like the traditional smell and taste this tea has, and the full mouth feel it gives while drinking it. It reminds me more of coffee then tea, in a good way, uplifting and soothing.Bridgette wrote: Hello communiTEA drinkers,
