Don't give it to chip, or he will have a stranglehold over half of the internet tea forum industry. :)
...lol...give it to scruff so he can finally take a bite out of spam.

Hey Guys! Sorry it took me a bit to get back to everyone regarding this issue; my bad. Yes, lately the spam has been coming in more frequently, and it would be great to have 2 other moderators to help out, especially since I am not on TeaChat during the later hours of the day.

So...(drumroll)...NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN!

Please nominate some perspective mod's over this weekend. If you are nominated and do not want to be a mod, please 'respectfully decline' (This is the most of roberts rules I will ever remember from my greek days).

On Monday, I will compile the list of candidates and we will vote via PMs to me.

Sound good? :)

Oooh, parliamentary procedure! How ever did we overlook thee?

I shall open the nominations by naming Scruff and Chip. Scruff can literally bite all the crime he can muster, and Chip can be one step closer to his teaopoly. He's already got the evil lair covered.

Scruff and Chip are good choices, but I would like to add EvenOdd and Andy. And in case anyone thinks about nominating me, I decline in advance.

I nominate Mary and spacesamurai, because they seem to know what up in this piece.

...still time to nominate...but I think today is the last day.
Looks like a pretty good list so far, well 5 out of 6 good nominations ain't too bad 8) . Geez, just seems unfair that only 2 will be elected.

Mary
Scruff
EO
Andy
Space
Chip (the only bad nomination so far)

Speaking of spam... the spammers must know that we're planning to root (is that the right word) them out, because there's more and more new spam again...

...lol...yeah, they know their days are numbered for sure.

But some though annoying are rather funny. Like who in their right mind would give money and/or personal financial info to an internet investment company that spams forums. Or buy cigs from a shady Russian spammer (he even says he is in Russia).
