He he he...you're safe. But whenever I can scrape together the bank to do a good 2nd best, I think I'm going to include that one as my 'perverse' tea.

Why is it that I get almost as much pleasure trying something wretched as I do something good?

You can count me out. It's nothing about the holiday, or anything personal about anyone here. Just ... count me out.

Okay, I set up a gizmo thingy at the link Xine suggested. It should have sent out some sort of e-mail to the following people:

ABx, chip, Ed, EvenOdd, Fatalitea, fencerdenoctum, hop_goblin, Me, Salsero, Scruff McGruff, spacesamurai, Warden, and Xine.

If anyone else wants in, leave a message here or send me a link and I'll add you.

Edit: I'm fiddling around with this website, and I think it works on the premise that we're all going to get together at some location and exchange, so it won't take all our addresses and be all slick...should we just do this the old-fashioned way and send one person all the addys for distribution?

...sounds good to me...

Just don't designate Space, I don't want him showing up at my door late one night.

He showed up at Tomasini's, and well, we know what happened to him.

I'm quite excited about this. I must say. Although I almost deleted it because I didn't recognize the sender name. Sorry Mary!

I would handle the distribution, but I don't trust the mail room here with such important parcels. I barely trust them with my teas as it is.

Ok, so we're just going to say 'heck with the site' and draw names from a digital hat? (We could write a program that does that) Or is the site still going to handle that part?

Also, I was wondering if the $20 limit includes the cost of shipping or can shipping go over 20?

To make this whole thing wretchedly convoluted, let's have the website figure out who gets who. Everyone can email me their addresses and who they got, and I'll sent the appropriate addresses to the appropriate people.

Blah blah blah...will not stalk you....blah blah blah...couldn't afford the transportation costs to stalk you even if I wanted to...blah blah blah...I have no Christmas spirit, so don't worry about the element of surprise being ruined on my end.

Oh, in case you don't already know, my Tea e-mail address is palatabilitea@gmail.com.

I think shipping can make the total go beyond $20 if you so choose. In my case it'll have to go a bit beyond seeing as I was going to make a fairly big order from someplace like Jing (but I haven't made up my mind where, so don't get too excited), have them send it to me, then I was going to release my gift-wrapping inner Martha Stewart and send the SS tea on separately.

You're not going to stalk me? :( That's the only reason I signed up for this thing...

So, at some point this wretched site will send us notifications regarding who we got and all that fun stuff, no?
