I've had some ok gunpowder, but I don't care for it at all. Have tasted gunpowder with saffron, it was pretty bad.

Gunpowder is dangerous, and forbidden, but try some maroccan mint tea.

Yeah, Moroccan Mint or Touareg, its a 'national' Moroccan drink, they prepare it with gunpowder and fresh mint leaves and a lot of sugar :)

My impression has been that 'gunpowder' is a term to describe teas rolled into balls in the west and that their quality and taste can vary quite a bit...though they all seem to be mass market export teas and so not as good as the specific regional varietals are...the one I've found most enjoyable was from numitea.

yay for trolling...

I actually really enjoy gunpowder as like was said above as an "off-green". I got it as part of a green tea starter kit from adagio and of the 4 I got it is one of my favorite.
