Tea Flavor

by Lana Y » Sep 28th, '05, 10:09

I find myself liking more spice also...Berg
Chis suggested I add orange zezt (my favorite flavor)
and I love it...I guess it is best to go less than more
on the flavor scale when flavoring tea...nothing worse
that an over flavored tea.

I really like the holiday sampler. All the flavors are good, just glad there wasn't "candy cane" in there (blech to minty teas!) Gingerbread is great!

Mmm... I for one am enjoying the Pumpkin Spice. Right now, as a matter of fact. I was drinking it during my Latin test because it's a BYOT sort of day.

I'm a big fan of the Chestnut flavor, too. Haven't tried any of the others yet, but my mom has, and her faves are the gingerbread and the candy cane. I'm stoked :D

personally, i cant imagine enjoying candy cane tea...
There are four advantages to green tea... Its beauty, its taste, its aroma, and its health benefits. Learn to enjoy the first three and you'll forget you drank it for the fourth. ^^

I ordered 10oz of Gingerbread instantly after trying the sampler. This is by far my favorite tea. I was amused that my free sample with that reorder was also of gingerbread. Just hope I don't run out before next fall.

Also, I don't see a lot of people listing autumn blend as their favorites.. if anyone has some they'd be happy to be rid of I'll happily take it off your hands. I can send $ for shipping or trade another sample for it. See, I tried to get my mom hooked on Adagio and of course her favorite was Autumn Blend, which only ever came in the samples and is now gone for ateleast another year. (Thanks Tad and Klem for offering me yours!)

Another random comment here -I noticed someone thought all the holiday teas tasted the same in their review. I'm not sure how on earth chesnut could taste like mint could taste like cranberry could taste like gingerbread... maybe they just had a cold the day they tried them.

I love these holiday flavors and thank you Adagio for making this time of year even more special through tea.

Butterbeer

by Deleted User #115 » Dec 1st, '05, 15:12

I had just made a cup of Candy Apple tea today and my officemate asks, "Why does it smell like butter in here?" He came over and smelled my tea and declared that it smells exactly like what he pictures Butterbeer (the infamous drink in Harry Potter's magical world) would taste like. Made me smile so I thought I'd share the conversation.

Cheers!
