This has become quite boring. If you refuse to respond with anything significantly more substantial than character assault, I see no point in continuing.
Blah blah blah I know I know, as I'm bowing out first I guess I automatically lose the internet argument. Let's conclude by just agreeing that I'm some nitwit who can't perform simple mathematical tasks or look up a couple articles online and read through them.

Well, you know what they say:
"Argument on the Internet is like competing in the special olympics,
you can win, but you are still a retard."

I didn't really follow this thread closely.... But I think it is abundantly clear that the information out there on tea is murky.
The only thing I'm convinced of is that tea has significant health properties. But, the whole caffeine issue is one big bag of worms. And, as far as Dr. Andrew Weil, he has apparently cited the widely held belief that the vast majority of caffeine comes out in the first 30 seconds of steeping... I don't take that to discredit him in his otherwise abundance of knowledge in medicine of all sorts. And though there are many quacks and misguided health practitioners out there, I do not count Dr. Weil among them. In fact, I consider him at the top of his game.

In case you all were wondering, tenuki and I have made peace (sans group tea hug, thank goodness).
