I use a stove top glass whistler at home. For the days that I work at our store, I have an electric kettle. Can't be w/o my tea!!!

Like most other people, I use a plug in stainless. before I had that, I used the microwave.
Darjeeling today, I just felt like it.

Ugly ol' plastic teakettle which desperately needs replacing.
I want the UtiliTea, but they don't ship outside the contiguous U.S.A. - nor to PO boxes, which is a secondary pain b/c I do have a friend with a PO box in Detroit who was willing to help out. Hmm...
I wonder why there's this restriction on the UtiliTea. Everything else seems to be available for shipping outside the States. {puzzled}

This is an awesome poll today as I just got my Zojirushi in the mail this morning! Until today, I've used a Sunbeam Hot Shot.
Today's teas have been a White Tip Oolong and now some White Peach.

I have a small whistler that I heat on the gas range. So did my mother before me. So didn't my grandmother. She had a huge and heavy kettle that made enough hot water for a small army.
The urgent scream of the kettle appeals to me. It announces, "Preparations are done. MAKE TEA NOW!"
I am finishing up a cup of genmaicha. Yummy as ever.
Thankfully, I am over being tired and am looking forward to tonight's May Eve celebrations.

UtiliTEA gets me really hot!!!

Upton Tea has what looks like the same kettle and they ship to canada.
I hate to do that but shame on Adagio for not shipping to canada.
I use and love my UtiliTea, best value variable temp kettle on the market IMHO. Also have a Zoji.

Thanks, Auggy! She's handful but super cute - being sorta overly assertive toward our big lab... And we are not exactly Cesar Millan.
In my cup as I type this is the 2008 Sungma FF Darj, it is heaven in a cup. If heaven is beautiful spring Darjeeling. Rightfully floral with a touch of fruitiness. Oh my.

I use a utiliTEA and glass kettle. I love using the glass kettle for camping- on the camp stove or over the fire. It messes up the bottom, but whatevs.
First flush Darjeeling!!!! Only the best for my birthday!!
