No, pokemon no longer has my soul, thank goodness. I did appreciate that picture Sal took the other day, though!

OK, now Skywarrior is missing!! Anyone have any info about her? She hasn't posted since the 16th and I haven't seen her in the IM for a long while.

Still here, sort of. And no, I'm NOT a mom and never shall be. (Except if they're cats or dogs).
Just been through some crappy life stuff. Nothing to see. Move along...

Life stuff sucks. I'm sorry you're going through a rough patch, but I'm *very* glad to see you're still on this side of the daisies!

D'ya think we should send out a search party for EO? He's been mighty scarce *everywhere* lately, and with all the mess in Cedar Rapids...I'm actually a little scared his house floated away or something.

EO was in earlier today. I haven't seen Ed for a while, though.

EO's power went out! which means teachat ceased to exist for him!
Ed has been scarce but i chatted with him yesterday? he said he allocated every square foot of his place to IPA fermentation. he also lost his chisel jaw.... god no longer thought ed was too pretty to let die.

Yes, I'm here and I am basically unaffected by the flooding. On the south side of Cedar Rapids, where downtown is, there's a river that runs through that got mega flooded. My work and apartment are on the north side and aside from lots of rain, we haven't been flooded. My interwebs did go down all Thursday due to the flooding, so I suppose I did get affected a little. You all won't be rid of me that easily.

I am very glad to hear that the flood's impact on you was minimal, EO. My one friend that lives out there (the snappy dresser, remember?), he works in insurance. He says his boss is moments from having a nervous breakdown over the whole thing. The industry is bracing itself for a metric shit ton of lawsuits. The line between 'flood' and 'water backup' is really thin. Flood is not covered under any homeowner's policy and water backup--if you have it--is usually a maximum of $5000 coverage. This creates a lot of very angry people.
So very, very glad you won't have to go through that.
